I just got back from an early screening of the American version of this. I never watched the international English edition, but I got the feeling that in addition to some redubbing, the the American production company added a lot of ridiculous lines into the film to make it more "appealing" to American kid audiences. There were so many scenes where it felt like there should be no dialogue but there were lots of random lines instead, like the cat in the Disney dub of Kiki's Delivery Service. I haven't been able to find the international version to compare though.
Anyone else see the American version yet?
Is this a How to train your dragon sequel?
>>94794252
No, it's how to train your loli.
>>94793828
the dialogues are all over the place, it is the same with the spanish version.
Now that Bendis' Daredevil has finished, I'm goint to post Ewing's Marvel Tenure as had been requested. The stories are going to be posted in the following order (unless one of you guys can come up with something better).
>Mighty Avengers
>Loki Agent of Asgard
>Captain America and Mighty Avengers
>Captain Britain and the Defenders
>Contest of Champions
>Ultimates Vol. 1
>New Avengers Vol. 3
>Ultimates Vol. 2
>US Avengers
NOt gonna lie, I did not know what to think when a new Mighty Avengers series was announced. I had never heard of Ewing and I actually liked Slott's run. It's been a while since I read it so lets get right into it
One page in and already Thanos is involved. I love characters that always have distinct dialog bubbles.
>Plunder Rays
I love this guy.
Wait....rumor pops in that Zack Snyder will return for post production of Justice League then the Joss Whedon news hits.
all the comic book site are eating up and even critics i feel so bad for justice league just imagine the rotten tomatoes score 25%
Gentlemen, how can the Western comic industry reach a new renaissance?

i'm not gonna read your article "anon"
>>94793675
That was fucking awful and while it touched on a few pertaining subjects, the rest of it was a pile of hot steaming rubbish that failed to capture both American comics and Japanese comics.
>>94793729
Care to explain?
Trollhunters Thread. So, do you guys like this show? I'm pretty much the only guy that actually posts threads about it.
>>94793615
I already finished talking about it months ago, and there's no date on Part 2.
Show was okay.
>>94793708
I thought I heard it might come out in November. i'm not sure so don't expect it.
>>94793615
I liked some parts more than others, for example I thought the girl and fat boy were a bit shallow as characters, though the relationship that evolved between the girl and the baby shapeshifter I thought was really well done and it actually made me feel quite a bit. The monsters were also well executed, and I loved the villain and his relationship with the protagonist's mother, I feel like it added a layer to him which made him much more human, and I hadn't seen that in a while.also, I'm a shotafag and the protagonist is kinda hot, especially in that one episode where he's really depressed
Does anyone have scans of this Paradox Space comic? The official book hasn't been on sale in months and I really want to see it!
good luck explaining this one
>>94793426
...it's pretty fucking obvious actually. Wandering eye/lazy eye.....get it?
>>94793426
Its pretty straight forward
It was formerly owned by Chuck.
Why do comic book publishers even bother with print anymore? Are there actually young people in a first world country without access to the internet?
>>94793393
That's some pleb shit, my man.
Straight up mealy-mouthed degenerate millennial rationalization. You don't have enough passion for comics to try to put together a print collection so you'd rather the medium destroyed.
Fuckin wew.
Digital sales are not even close to print sales.
The publishers are terrified of changing formats at all because the vast majority of their customer base is people who go to comic shops monthly.
That's why they push so hard with graphic novels/trades and various series that don't appeal to comic shop patrons, they're desperately trying to expand their customer base, because comic shops are slowly dying, their customer base is getting older and older, and the market has only seen growth for the first time in decades because of the movies.
If they lose those comic shop customers with their current level of profit, they'd be dead in the water.

If you can't effectively sell something online, you don't deserve to exist as a business.
In 1986, Scott McCloud, he of Zot!, Understanding Comics and The Sculptor fame gave us this gem; a perfect and utterly insane distillation of Bronze Age super-hero comics. If the Dark/Modern/Whatever Age of comics started with Dark Knight and Watchmen, the Bronze Age most certainly ended with a bang on this. Brace yerselves, kids.

Who the was he and why did he job the fucking Puppet King
Will this ever have a movie adaptation?
It would make a really stupid movie, so no.
Probably not.
Disney has no interest in reacquiring the X-Men or making a deal with Fox over them, since Avengers is now the bigger property, and Fox has no reason to ever make a deal with Disney, since X-Men is still a pretty big and successful property.
I love how people can see the future on 4chan sometimes, srs though maybe like faaaaaaaaaaar into the future I could see this happening but not anytime soon. No one here has heard the saying "you you live in an interred ring times" huh? It Bacall your means no one knows how weird the future will get!!!
Since Netflix now owns Millarworld, which comics would you like to see them adapt into a show or movie? I would really like to see Nemesis or a reboot of Kickass
>>94793221
It'd be cool to see them tackle Wanted truer to the comics concept. With a decent budget they could probably pull it off. I really want to see Kick-Ass again, preferably with Matthew Vaughn involved. With a show they could probably handle a happy balance between the grittier style of the comics and the more well rounded movie version. Kick-Ass 2 is in dire need or a fresh take, both the movie and the comic have major issues.
>>94793353
I think Wanted would be absolutely perfect for Netflix. Also Huck could be interesting too.
Was Reddit Man: Memecoming any good?
>Spider-Man: Avengers are coming
>>94793176
Yes, I really enjoyed it.
>>94793176
Watch it and decide for yourself instead of asking 4chan what your opinion should be.
