Anon, she lost her family and felt that she had little to live for. The high she was experiencing at the time in that episode only helped to bring her feelings to the surface that her guitar couldn't help mask and soothe. Sometimes being able to play music doesn't magically alleviate your issues- contrary to what Jem ever said or (playfully) alluded to.

What are you looking for?
For the remaining year, the thing that interests me most is the Psych Wars arc of the Jean grey solo, it's the only multi issues story arc of that run (which I suppose will be cancelled soon after, I dont see it going after number 12), and will be about Jean and Emma in the first 2 issues, and will have Hope, Quentin and the Cuckoos in the last one. The run ends with the arrival of the Phoenix.
And it seems the old Jean will resurrect/come back. It will be interesting to see if the old Jean replaces the new one, I dont like redundant repeated characters. Perhaps the old and new characters will be merged.
Blue will have an arc about time travel, repairing the timeline. Perhaps the young xmen will have to sacrifice themselves in some way to do it.
I am also interested in the time travel issue of Blue in which they visit 90s Gen X. And Jubilee, Husk and Chamber fighting to separate Monet from Emplate in the current Gen X.
And I hope Cable will be good with the new team (Doop, X23, Armor, Shatterstar, Longshot, Blink), even if the art is by Liedel Jr. The enemy is Selene.
Mojo stories generally have no stakes, so I am not very interested in the Blue-Gold crossover. (Gold is also quite bad)
And I dont care about the Defenders Iceman arc.
Also, What if Emma fucks Havok?
