How would you survive the Adventure Time Universe right after the Apocalypse?

What away from large cities

Can music be implemented to the comic reading experience?
Like reading an issue/portion of a comic at the rhythm of a song, or giving a comic its own soundtrack, do you think such a thing is feasible at all? If you think so, how would you go on about doing it?
For the sake of argument let's put webcomics out of the equation and focus exclusively on print comics.
>>94864248
I've tried but I'm easily distracted. I like finding as much calm as I can to immerse myself in the book's world. I end coming up with the rhythm of the world, imagining the beats and sounds anyway. But I bet something instrumental would work with me. Nothing lyrical or my immersion would be broken and I'm belting out.
So like a motion comic?
>>94865493
I guess, although I'm trying to imagine the lyrics being worked into a silent panel, and such.
So are we 100% sure at this point this guy is a clone and not the real Shiro, while the one in Season 1 and 2 is the real thing or at least a different individual from the one in Season 3?
>>94864217
We know nothing, we never did.
http://www.denofgeek.com/us/tv/voltron/267024/voltron-why-did-shiro-return-so-quickly
Also after reading this article, does Shiro actually sell that much merch? From what I know of this show's production Season 3 was probably actually written about a year ago, back when Season 1 was just coming out, and AFAIK actual merch for this show didn't come out until a while later, especially Shiro figures.
Just how much control over this show do Montgomery and Dos Santos actually have? I thought one of the advantages of having this show on Netflix was that they had more freedom to do what they wanted with the story since it was less dependent on things like toy sales and immediate viewership numbers compared to network shows.
>>94864330
Actually after rereading the article I guess it confirms whatever happened to Shiro at the end of Season 2 didn't kill him, at least not permanently, and that he was definitely going to come back to the team. So no astral plane shenanigans, and probably no clone subplots either. Shame because as far as Voltron plots go the possible clone stuff is definitely hooking me harder than a lot of the other stuff in the show.
>DC/WB actually making Elseworlds movies while the main DCEU can still have the continuity and cinematic universe stuff
FUCK YES.
Marvel should do this too. Not everything has to exist in the same continuity/universe. This allows for more creative freedom.
>>94864066
This seems like a bad idea. They're already cutting corners on the DCEU and the last thing they need to to do something to take up more resources that could be used to help build things up.
It's like they want the DCEU to fail.
I feel like this is a bad idea since Elseworld stories will confuse casuals.
Too bad mindless normies will be like "DURRR WTF SO LIKE THIS IS LIKE A DIFFERENT BATMAN OR ST WTF????"

YFW they made a sequel 30 years later.
The comics are still coming out, but it seems like the author burned out on the main series just as it was ramping up the finale.

it's the effort that makes it art
I'm increasingly nervous about this
I just know they are going to ruin this, especially because of the political implication a the punisher continues to become a symbol of pro-cop, conservative values in the united states
and we know all too well that netflix has a clear political bias and isn't afraid to show it
Feel free to screencap me in case of extreme wrongness, but--
I sincerely don't think they'll ruin the Punisher. He's the kind of character that a very specific set of people enjoy. They wouldn't be putting some womens-studies-major Jane Literally-Who on it. Not unless they straight-up didn't care about the patronage of one of the few character fanbases who are still largely unchanged by the current social climate. And seeing as how a LOT of them pay for Netflix, a screw-up could mean losing a good bit of their Marvel fan demographic. A loss they can take? Sure, but it means more money in the long run to just not fuck it up.
why is the head of scheduling at CN such a shit head that they refuse to play anything other then TTG or the occasional gumball or OK KO?
it's a mystery.
if it's the longest running show of their lineup then yeah, I can see why. fill an entire week without repeating episodes. and a shitty movie.
here was his pitch trailer

>Before Marvel and Netflix took the reins of the Man Without Fear, he was still a property of 20th Century Fox. After the 2003 Ben Affleck film received neither the critical nor box office success they were hoping for, Joe Carnahan stepped in to attempt a different take on the character.
>Mixing in footage from the Affleck movie, Frank Miller comic book pages, and what looks like ’70s film footage, Carnahan created a sizzle reel that gave our hero a dark and gritty feel, just the like movies of that time period. Had his version been greenlit, it would have been a trilogy of films taking place in the ’70s and early 80s, with each film serving as a commentary on the time period. The movies would also have gone for a hard R-rating, so the grittiness of the film wouldn’t seem disingenuous. However, the movie was not approved in time and Marvel won the rights to the character back, bringing us the TV show we have today.

Pretty great, I wish Valiant put out more of them.
Seriously doubt anyone can help with this, but here goes nothing.
Scanning my comic/manga collection that I spent two decades gathering. Decided to go digital since I'm moving soon and don't have the storage room. Just want to make the highest quality scans I can to preserve them for my family/friends that might be interested.
Using Mac's Image Capture (El Capitan) and luckily it comes with a ton of settings. Bad news is the only thing I can find on the web lists older versions which don't have as many settings.
If anyone is a pro at scanning using Image Capture, just need the settings for both color (reg comics) and black and white (manga).
Here's what I can choose from the drop down menu.
Scanning at 300 or 600dpi (have tons of HD space so thinking 600)
TIFF or PNG (don't think it matters)
Image Correction> None or Manual (all this does is let me move the brightness/contrast...kinda sucks)
Image Adjustment>None, Auto, Magazine, Photo, Document (Magazine seems to look better for color comics)
Reduce Dust>None, Low, Medium, High
Fading Correction> same as ^
Grain Correction> same
Gutter Correction> same
And I have the option to switch on: Unsharp Mask, Descreen, Reduce Show-through, and Calibrate before each scan.
Yes, I know I can simply download most comics/manga...especially pic-related (I'm only scanning it to compare with the excellent torrent download to check my manga scan settings. Doing the same with color comics like my Fred Perry "Gold Digger" collection). I'm doing this to scan the stuff that isn't online (or the quality is shit).
So far, /adv/ says PNG and 600dpi and the rest do in Photoshop later. That's what I'm going with unless anyone else has a better idea. If anyone knows specific photoshop sites or classes specifically dealing with comics/manga (even if it's costs), I'd appreciate.

>So far, /adv/ says PNG and 600dpi and the rest do in Photoshop later.
That's pretty much what I'd advise as well.
With good enough size and res you can clean just about anything with photoshop.
Since its black and white mostly, to clean it up you just gotta play with the levels of the image It's Ctrl+L if I remember correctly.
>>94863291
Yes it is and I know about levels (for manga). Thanks for the response.
Ever used levels before? It'll take a few of those steps out.
I'd recommend trying out a few pages then making an action. You can look up how to do this stuff on youtube easy.
I used to clean mangas and it's a good way to cut time as long as the scans are consistent.
