It's complicated. Skeletor while in Hordak's service he tried to overthrow him, by using dark magic, which transformed him to a skull ram demon. But he failed and Hordak slay him, and took used his skull to create the Havoc Staff. When he offered the Staff to a younger Skeletor, the contact with the Staff, revealed at Skeletor, what eventually will happen to him, and he used the Staff to defeat temporarily Hordak and escaped with the Staff.
This is the Havoc Staff's origin from the Eternity War. Though there is another origin from the modern mini comics, a bit less complex.

How long do you think that the Emperor could hold himself against Samurai Jack?
I think that he would be defeated in like, 2 minutes of an episode. Mostly "Dautgher of Aku" tier.

He didn't have the sword; people can really underestimate how strong Aku is if you don't have some sort of holy weapon.
Like in Jack vs the Zombies, Aku managed to snatch it and Jack had to spend the rest of the episode running away, because Aku can do some crazy shit. Not to mention the several instances we saw him raze cities solo.

Can /co/ redpill me on TLOK? I genuinely enjoyed it when it was "airing" (Even I knew the network was just taking a massive shit on it before I got really into animation/cartoons.) I haven't been on /co/ that long but have already notice a looming hatred for the show.
The romance plots felt so awkward, the plots felt underwhelming ('Cept season 3) and the ending felt soooo selled out. But besides that, what made it fall so short to the Avatar before that?
