"QS 5:51" on pic related refers to "Muslims should not take the Jews and Christians as their allies/friends" on Quran.
"212" refers to a anti-non-Muslim movement in a third-world country.

Holy shit
Which type of villain do you prefer? One who's just simply evil and want to take over the world? Or one who's actions are motivated by virtuous intentions?
>>91366215
The second one is generally more interesting, though it's frequently done better by anime far more often compared to western cartoons.
villains who love being evil and don't give a fuck > villains who try with all their heart but are too incompetent to ultimately pull their plans off so they seem les evil in comparison > villains who are not explicitely evil but are selfish > everything else

Dudes own life was against himself, he worked hard for everything and every step he took was more painful than the last. Seeing homer just being handed everything really fucked him up. He was a tight ass but to say he deserved it is just wrong.
What makes a great character? Is it originality? Or does it require the reader's emotional investment?
>>91364345
I like rorscach because, even though he and i have completly diffferent political ideology, i can relate to his backstory of a troubled childhood, and think we should do to the scum of the earth as the justice he dished out
There's no one thing or formula. This thread is generalized to the point of idiocy.

I have a question for everyone here thats making your own webcomic, whats the general age range of everybody here? I'm 28 and would like to eventually get published, but most of my ideas for comics are kind of weabooish anime inspired, and I'm wondering how old you can be if you want to go in this direction with your comics.
>>91090067
I'm 18 right now. I'm more of an artist than a writer, but I also hope to get published doing my own series someday.
Will Slapstick & co. perish in Dimension Ecch?
>Why is this storytime contains WebM files?
Because it is an Infinite Comic (optimized for mobileshit), and the WebM format achieves a higher quality than GIF.
Why can't he get one good video game?
Every time I ask /v/ they curse and say mean things to me.
He was good in Lego Batman 2
Give that shit to Platinum Games.

But really.

>Every time I ask /v/ they curse and say mean things to me.
That's your own fault for leaving our /co/mfy hugbox
I guess it's because he has a lot of powers and fans would probably be a little pissed if they made the game too edgy and had him copiously killing.
So why haven't you pursued your dream of opening up your own comic book studio anon?
I don't have 200,000 dollars for a shitty very small one only good enough to make crappy commercials let along the cartoon I would want to make that would require paying the staff for months before a single shippable product could be sold which wouldn't even be likely to sell well
That was never my dream, dad. My dream was to be a singer, but I can't sing.
That's not my dream, and I think it's dumb.
Will this kid ever age?
It was probably a mistake on the writer's part having him bring an immature teenager in the body of an 8 year old, instead of just an 8 year old.
>>91360841
Be*, not bring
>>91360841
Yeah, to think him and Azula (14) from Avatar are the same age is weird.
There are people ON THIS FUCKING SITE that did not binge the original run of Samurai Jack before watching Season 5.
Let that sink in.
Y-Yeah what kind of pleb would do something like that, hahaha...
>>91360091
i tried. the first chunk of episodes is just too boring. I can't sit through a show that's mostly artistic visuals and requires me to pay attention any more than I can watch anime with subtitles, since I have to draw all day and can't actually stare at the screen
don't get me wrong, i'm so glad i watched it the first time through, but I have little need to rewatch. I remember everything about it, why it was so great. more or less.
>>91360091
Well I just did and I'm trying to get use to the new "serious" season.
We all knew this movie would suck, but did any of you at least go to see it out of morbid curiosity when it was in theaters?
>>91359737
I did.
I liked it as it's own thing...although it wasn't all that good or anything. I didn't think or treat it like a superhero movie at all; it was more like an interesting elseworld.
I liked it until the ending fight.
>>91359986
this, pretty much
>>91359737
It feels like a mess watching it, I couldn't imagine how it felt making it.
There's a point where it just stops, and then it picked up some undisclosed amount of time later with Mr Fantastic hiding in South America with a fake stretchy face. It's just... bizarre.
So, can we all please stop pretending that The Smurfs were ever good now?
>>91359298
>only "muh art" critics opinions count
Nope
I'm not even sure who they were making this movie for
>>91359298
At least it's not a stupid "CGI mixed with reality" movie
Come up with an idea for a cartoon starring a viking.
>LONG AGO IN A DISTANT LAND
>I, VANDR, THE SHAPESHIFING MASTER OF DARKNESS UNLEASHED AN UNSPEAKABLE EVIL
>BUT, A FOOLISH VIKING WARRIOR WIELDING A MAGIC AXE-
He's a Viking okay? and he's given a magic Axe to slay an evil shapeshifting creature named I dunno... Ake, but before the final blow was struck, he tears open a portal in time and flings him into the future where Ake's evil is law.

Hey. Stop that.
This was a real treat for me. I’m watching a bunch of animated movies, and thought about skipping this one, but I’m glad I didn’t. Granted, the fact that I expected nothing from it probably helped, but still.
I can understand why people who love the first one would be put off, especially since Don Bluth wasn’t the animator on it, but the animation was still beyond solid for the time. It’s really smooth and seems to have a high frame rate- it reminds me of the MIckey Mouse short ‘Runaway Brain’, which has incredible animation.
It also has a pretty great soundtrack. “Dreams to Dream” is obviously the highlight, and that whole sequence is just beautiful, no qualifiers needed, and I didn’t find myself particularly disliking any of the songs (except maybe the one on the train), but even the somewhat more forgettable songs are paired with the great animation. Just look at this scene, for example:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TylmZEtTGxw
As for the story, well, there are probably too many plot threads (though I’ve seen much worse), and there’s nothing I would necessarily take away from the movie, but I think that it could’ve stood to be a little longer. Also, I get some of the criticism about it being less dark than the original.
The Tanya subplot was just great for me, and I would’ve loved to have seen more of it with her, Cat R. Waul and Miss Kitty. Tanya was basically a nothing character in the first movie aside from her duet with Fievel, and I really liked what they did with her. Speaking of Cat R. Waul, he was a pretty good villain, and John Cleese did a good job, but they had the perfect setup for him to redeem himself over his love for Tanya’s voice that they didn’t go with. He could’ve easily realized that mice might have more value than just as food, and then maybe the other cats could’ve turned on him or something. At least he didn’t want to kill Tanya in the climax, but still.
Anyway, I’ll post a couple random screenshots from it now.

How would you translate your favorite non-/co/ based video game into a piece of /co/ media? Who would you like to work on it?
They already have comics, but I think it would be neat to have an Overwatch cartoon and/or graphic novel.I really just want to see graphic lesbian sex
