This was the very first webcomic I have ever read.
>>91206904
Yes., it was the first webcomic that i started following regularly, even though it wasn't that good in hindsight it was still a fun ride.
And the Sprite Webcomic fad is basically over anyway, so the "damage" caused has been dealt with.
Well?
>>91206731
Thats not Anti-Venom, anon
But he is basically the Joker if somehow the Joker was even more bland.
>>91206731
Because he knows he's a ridiculous 90s creation and revels in it with some of the most batshit crazy stories.
I know this board gets a laugh at these but Jesus I think Ive found the worst one just now
https://youtu.be/S9gvPUJ16T8
If you think that's the worst you've got a whole new world ahead of you
/co/ only hates shipping when it isn't their ship.

Why are they making Gaston into a pedo?
>>91207407
What are some /co/ ships?

A few years ago, Saudi Arabia signed an agreement with China for the two of them to make animated programs together as part of a cultural exchange. The first one, Hakim, is going to premiere soon.
This is destined to end badly, isn't it?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Dv3qqf5SQg
I'm afraid the Saudi poster only exists as a thumbnail. The Chinese versions are easier to find, but it is a full joint venture and both China and Saudi Arabia money into this.
>>91206285
>>91206319
Just by the designs alone, I can feel we're gonna get some fine porn eventually.
I hope they're genuinely good but... Saudi Arabia...
>>91206462
It is weird for such a closed and insular nation to try to dip its toe into animation, especially one with a female main character who clearly isn't covered head-to-toe. But I guess they do make exceptions for foreigners.
Got back from the screening at Wondercon. Did anyone else here see it too?
I thought it was pretty good and entertaining. A lot of sex jokes too which kinda caught me off guard.
I never actually read the judas contract so i cant really comment on how close it follows it but the people i was with said it was a fairly decent adaptation.
Was it lewder than the last one?
>>91205952
How was Miguel Ferrer (RIP) as Slade?
>>91205952
>I never actually read the judas contract so i cant really comment on how close it follows it
Well, like half the team in this didn't exist yet when the Judas Contract came out, so I'm going to guess not very closely.
Why is Aku such a fucking dick to Jack anyways?
because
Maybe because jack is constantly trying to find a way to get back to the past and kill him?
>>91205514
Same reason why Hitler was a dick to the jews.

MAKE MINE MARVEL
Same editorial. Same writers. Nothing is going to change.
>not raping and holocausting all cis white men
Marvel is literally Hitler.
>Part of it, but I think also it seemed like tastes changed, because stuff you had been doing in the past wasn’t working the same way. Did you perceive that or are we misreading that?
>No, I think so. I don’t know if those customers with the tastes that had been around for three years really supporting nearly anything that we would try, anything that we would attempt, any of the new characters we brought up, either they weren’t shopping in that time period, or maybe like you said their tastes have changed.
>There was definitely a sort of nose-turning at the things that we had been doing successfully for the past three years, no longer viable. We saw that, and that’s what we had to react to. Yes, it’s all of that.
>Now the million-dollar question. Why did those tastes change?
>I don’t know if that’s a question for me. I think that’s a better question for retailers who are seeing all publishers. What we heard was that people didn’t want any more diversity. They didn’t want female characters out there. That’s what we heard, whether we believe that or not. I don’t know that that’s really true, but that’s what we saw in sales.
>We saw the sales of any character that was diverse, any character that was new, our female characters, anything that was not a core Marvel character, people were turning their nose up against. That was difficult for us because we had a lot of fresh, new, exciting ideas that we were trying to get out and nothing new really worked.
>It was the old things coming back in that time period, three books in particular, Spider-Man Renew Your Vows, that had Spider-Man and Mary Jane married, that worked. The Venom book worked and the Thanos book worked. You can take what you want out of who might be enjoying those three books, but it is definitely a specific type of comic book reader, comic book collector that really liked those three series.

What were your reactions when you first saw a live-action rendition of a superhero's costume?
I remember when they first made a Spider-Man movie, I liked the suit so much, holy shit Spider-Man
