this diana is cute.
I miss the new 52 design.
Reminder that both Skeet and Jimmy were in the wrong. Skeet told Jimmy to use a mop to clean up a package of salt instead of a broom and Jimmy failed to see how this was the wrong way to clean it.
>>94890751
>using a broom would leave salt between the tile
>using a mob would clean it perfectly by absorbing the salt
You can't beat skeet
>>94890822
>absorbing/dissolving the salt
>not sweeping as much up and putting it on the burgers
Ya'll don't know how to run a business, so wasteful
>>94890751
>Skeet
White people are so naive
Remember when Billy batson was a wizard?
>>94890686
Also, Some of Captain marvel is in public domain? Is the wizard in public domain?
>>94890686
It was slightly less shit than Freddy being the new Captain Marvel.
>>94890686
>Wizard Billy was batshit crazy from the voices of the gods in his head
>Freddy doing greek trials to prove chosen worth
yeah, it was a great time for legacy characters. Freddy becoming the new champion had to happen sooner or later.
So real talk, what is the point of having a superhero genre if literally the only thing anyone cares about is Batman?
I'm serious, the ONLY comics IP that actually sells is Batman, allegedly. Most of the animated movies are Bat-related cause they want them to actually make money. Most of the live action stuff is Bat-related because they want to make money. The comics more than ever basically center around Batman because only Batman sells.
Okay. Then what's the point of the other IPs then? Frankly, it's better to just discontinue all the other books, since they apparently don't sell worth shit, and let what few fans those characters have not feel like the things they like are nothing but filler. Go right ahead and have your Bat-verse, just let the other capes die with some quiet dignity, instead of forcing them to constantly orbit Batman's morbidly obese ass.
>>94890651
Well, you could always give his sidekick his own spinoff, and have it be better than pretty much all other capeshit...
>>94890678
shit sux bro
Is this worth a watch?
It's the best superhero movie of the year, so yes
>>94890491
Funny how that's a thing people can say now.
Just a decade ago you would be calling things the best superhero film of the decade
>>94890475
Totally
ITT: Pilots you wish got picked up.
>>94890427
>Bubsy is coming back

Who the fuck greenlit this ugly ass show honestly
>>94890403
Animation =/= Popularity
It's a kids show for kids. What's a grown ass man doing complaining about it? I sure as fuck know nobody breeded with your whiny ass so you arent bitching on behalf of your children.
>>94890403
I think it looks cute and its funny so honestly i dont give a shit.
>>94890445
Okay that still doesn't change the fact that shit looks like a college thesis faggot.
I'm not complaining about the popularity I am complain the show is ugly. I could care fuck all if it's popular but damn where is the effort
Is he dare I say it the best Robin?
>>94890342
No, he isn't
he is not the worst but he is not the best
>>94890342
He's just somewhat more tolerable than Jason.
>>94890267
A daily reminder she was only killed off because the writers and fans preferred Mary-Jane more and wanted her to be the main love interest due to Gwen being...well boring.
Man, times have changed.
>>94890267
>starting a thread with Greg Land """art"""
>>94890299
Now, They made her more interesting. She became a spider-hero from another universe and help created two more interesting characters in spiderman lore
am I missing something here?
why did /co/ freak out over this ending?
you made it look like jack died and ashi took his role over or something
it's literally the end goal jack had through the whole series
>>94890185
The episode itself wasn't paced well and concluded the end a little too abruptly for some people. And Ashi fading away during the wedding was a direct copy of the end of Gurren Lagann, so people were upset over that as well.
I liked the ending well enough myself, though I wish we'd had a full hour to end it, whole last episode felt a little too compact.
>>94890215
I mean, they're valid points but no reason to flip out as much as /co/ did
>>94890215
Agree. I was hopping a hour long finale or two parters, so that 22 minutes did feel kind of rush and needs a lot of reworks and changes. However, I won't create drama by either criticizing everything or exaggerating anything from the finale. I agree some rants do make many valid points, but I will be much appreciated if people can discuss it and not being some melodramatic drama queens.
Beast Boy thread?
Probably not
>>94889994
If Mystique got too thicc would she be unable to properly shape-shift?
Why he's a boring character?
Okay, /co/, today is behavior card day.
>>94889993
Oh boy, I got the white card!
>>94889993
>takes the red card because wgaf
David Wise claims to have created Krang and the Technodrome when writing the scripts for season 1...
... Does anyone actually believe that? Sure, there's very little evidence to suggest otherwise but does it sound credible? David Wise isn't exactly known for telling the truth.
It seems more likely that Krang is the result of Playmates marketing deciding it was better to market the Utrom toy as one character. As for the Technodrome, just look at the fucking thing, does it even remotely seem like something they didn't design a toy for from the very begining?
>>94889917
>As for the Technodrome, just look at the fucking thing, does it even remotely seem like something they didn't design a toy for from the very begining?
1986fag here.
By the time the turtles hit the air waves the commercialism of the 80s was already in full swing thanks to properties like He-Man, but wasn't nearly as bad as the 90s would become where a simple Batman figure had 50,000 variations.
While it's easy to believe that the Technodrome was made so it could become a toy just as easily it could have started as a design which would later become a toy under the "make a toy for everything" think of the 80s.
Personally I played with it as a kid and I have a hard time believing that the clunky piece of shit started as a toy because they would have designed something easier to open up and play with.
>>94889917
When we're talking about "inventing Krang", I assume he's talking about the design for the weird ass robot body, which was one of the few instances of something showing up on the show long before being a toy.
Pretty sure he was busy composing Slalom at the time.
You're all a bunch of spoiled brats who are never satisfied yet keep demanding things be made better.
if they don't do what i want then i will stop illegally streaming their work.
my tastes are above everyones, bitch
>>94889911
They should stop the status quo. Also I really hate changes.
Sluggy Freelance is 20 years old now. It's a comic I started following in 2001 and never stopped. One of the earliest webcomics, some of the jokes show their age, but the plot never stopped from interresting me.
T's about to get through a massive overhaul, in format and elivery initially planned to happens, at the time of the birthday, but true to hismelf, pete is behind schedule again.
Anyway, I am glad the Oasis plot is about to get a resolution.
>>94889899
>20 years old
That can't be right it's only been...
>1997
Fucking hell. I read the shit out of it from 2001 to about...2009.
