I'm pretty obsessed with David B, Stephane Blanquet, Killoffer...Black Paths by David B is great, as are Best of Enemies vols 1 and 2, Incidents In The Night volumes 1 and 2 and of course his masterpiece epileptic.
And I don't think Tengu is as bad as some have made out.
676 Apparitions of Killoffer is a masterpiece of cartooning and his stuff that was in Mome is great.
(I love de Crecy too, need more of his stuff)

Celestial Bibendum was a fucking trip.
It's one of those works where you want to read it again just to understand how deep the rabbit hole goes.
BTW I'm still mad about Drakka here for how it ended.
Why is it okay for George Lucas to talk about Kurosawa heavily influencing him but not Zack Snyder?
Why is this board so stupid?
Because Zack Snyder's an overgrown twelve year old in his edgelord phase that thinks comics are unrealistic because Batman isn't getting raped in them.
>>91506127
That doesn't answer my question though.
Why are people shocked about Kurosawa influences? They're fairly common in film. A Bug's Life is based on Seven Samurai for example.
The day after Red Skull's killed...
what the fuck is his problem?
>>91505628
he's an autistic hack man child
>>91505628
Severe autism.
fetishes took over his brain
good artist though
>>91505546
fuck zack snyder the hack
>>91505546
Tell us about how MoS is really Plato's The Cave.
>>91505546
But they aren't uniting the seven anymore. The symbolism is gone Snyder.
Oh wow its actually happening and nobody stopped them

This comic is unbelievably shit.
Old man Bruce is the only reason Batman Beyond was popular. Prove me wrongProtip: you can't.
>>91504684
Terry is overrated. Only the the batman beyond costume was great about him.
>the villains are actually threatening because they're spliced or chromed up
>who is terry
Old bruce was just the cherry on top
>>91504684
if it was set a it further in the future and replaced him with old man Dick it still would have worked
ok /co/ tell me all about bad webcomics all of it!
art,creators,writing etc (pic not related)
Why do they all wear that stupid hat?
you know,the "webcomic artist hat"
>>91504145
dumbing of age and questionable content are two good starting points for bad webcomics
go join the generals and pretend you're reading them ironically like everyone else
You must assemble a team to stop this unholy abomination, who do you select? Excluding abstract class beings like Galactus, Celestials, Mr. Mxyz and etc.
>>91503632
all we need is Wally, boost him with Supes Jay and Barry's speed and there you go
>>91503632
Heroman and maybe some normal people on the side to cheer him on
>>91503632
>Flash
>Mr. Freeze
>Saitama
Freeze gives Flash his freeze-ray, Flash catches up to Speedforce Hulk and slows down with the gun, Saitama punches him in the dick and he explodes into green mist.
Finally here....bump thread so I won't fall asleep

Are people really bitching about the new season of Samurai Jack? I got a late start but I just finished episode 3 and it's really good. The scenes with blue mental Jack in particular are pure kino.
>"I want it to end. Aren't you tired? Wouldn't it be great to be free of all of this? Our ancestors are waiting for us. They want you to join them."
I think a lot of it is contrarianism and dedicated autists. I'm not trying to deflect criticism here, I understand some of the complaints, but the first 2 weeks everyone loved and the hype was at an all time high
This got the autists on the board annoyed because their special snowflake show wasn't getting the same attention and they started making threads against SJ. The autism of people on this board can't be denied, so I honestly figure they decided instead to shitpost against SJ as best they can to make people join the hate hivemind and try and ruin everyones fun, since it's not *their* show.
Also, after Week 3, it leaked that Jack would team up with Ashi next episode. This alone pissed people off and they decided then that they'd hate it, rather than giving it a chance. I know since I was there after Ep2. Combine that with the missed week which killed some of the hype, the bitterness rose through.
That's not to say its a perfect show and some complaints aren't valid. But I swear it can't be a coincidence that on a Monday I see a thread asking "When /co/ will turn on Samurai Jack" and by the Thursday there seems to be this mass hating of Samurai Jack
>>91502711
What's wrong with trying to get others to share your opinion if you enjoy the new season but genuinely think it has some serious problems?
>>91501187
>dialogue that tells me literally exactly what a character feels
This shit isn't challenging at all, 4chan thinking this is Kino is like reddit going apeshit over rick and morty.
/co/ movies no one remembers.
>>91501035
Is that triggered bitch in the SS hat?
>>91501035
So I never read The Spirit, but is it normal for him to get his ass beat and made to look like a joke?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7ayGFHGqeQ
So this is easily going to be the best cape movie of the year, right?
I'm feeling partial to JL, but on /co/ that means i'm a troll or have bad taste.
what are you talking about it looks like shit
It looks like they just copied GotG LOLXD without getting the point of it
>>91499357
>but on /co/ that means i'm a troll or have bad taste
I thought it was the opposite now.
Who was in the wrong here?
fuck beth
Rick.
Rick most of all, for exploiting his daughter's emotional issues, then Beth.
Sam Raimi trilogy
>Remember, with great power comes great responsibility
Amazing Spider-Man
>If you can do good things for other people, you have a moral obligation to do those things! Not choice. Responsibility.
Civil War
>When you can do the things that I can, but you don't, and then the bad things happen? They happen because of you.
So how will Spider-Man: Homecoming butcher the original line used in Raimi's films?
For a moment, I honestly had no fucking clue what Peter meant the first time I heard his responsibility quote in Civil War
>>91498811
>>When you can do the things that I can, but you don't, and then the bad things happen? They happen because of you.
The funny thing about this is that this is exactly Steve's ideology in Civil War.
>If I see a situation pointing south, I can't ignore it. Sometimes I wish I could.
If Tony actually informed Peter of what was actually happening and what the conflict was about, Peter probably would have been with Steve.
>>91498811
>For a moment, I honestly had no fucking clue what Peter meant the first time I heard his responsibility quote in Civil War
Are you dumb? It's okay if you are.
>>91498856
>If Tony actually informed Peter of what was actually happening and what the conflict was about, Peter probably would have been with Steve.
This
Tony's got some nice toys for beating up baddies but he's a shitty hero
