This is Frank "The Punisher" Castle.
Say something nice about him!
He had a nice family

I Frank you, Frank.
>>91457030
Frankly? His action speaks for himself.
A very frank person
What will be the next cartoon to get a movie and will it be good?
>>91456975
That pic needs a Brazzers logo on it.
>>91456991
Good thought
>>91456975
Invincible is currently in the works if you count that. It's live action though.
Will there ever be a meaningful crossover between the Marvel films/TV shows/Netflix shows? I could honestly see Bernthal show up on Agents of SHIELD for an episode or two, or Luna might be part of a Ghost Rider Netflix show in the future.
Nah and its for the best. Better to be like the comics for now and treat them all like different Levels.
>>91457019
I guess, but I don't see the point of a "shared universe" if it's most just contained to their individual corners. Like would it really be so hard to have Stark make a joke about Daredevil when he's recruiting Peter in Civil War? Or to have some cast members from SHIELD as extras in Age of Ultron?
>>91456965
No.
Primarily because of scheduling - your average tv show episode is scripted (from pre-existing ideas) about two weeks before it's finished and ready for broadcast, which is usually not much later. Some shows have an even faster turnaround.
So for a movie series to interact with a tv show, you need to know where the movie will be and where the tv show will be, plotwise, years in advance - unless you can get bit-players from the movies who a) cost a lot less per episode than big stars and b) aren't going to be killed off in the movies but are going to be big enough characters people will recognize them and including them is therefore worth the extra cost and effort.
Cost is also of course a factor. You can't get an a-list star for a tv show (except as archive footage, which is still costing you because that's how the rules work). There's no budget high enough. You can sometimes find people who were a-list, or people who were hired before they were a-list, but almost never an actual movie star.

>to have some cast members from SHIELD as extras
This is also an incredibly bad idea. When you put someone in a movie, because *you want them to be in your movie because of another role they've played*, you're giving them a reason to argue for more money. And if you want them - if you really give two shits about it at all - you'll pay that extra, and your budget will bloat and you won't be able to pay for that extra scene you wanted so you have to cut it.
>lines
Basically, this is down to Chekov's Gun. If it's in the script and it doesn't serve a real purpose, it's waste, so you cut it. Even if you cut it in editing after filming it - dead air is dead air.
Most people aren't going to know who the fuck Daredevil is, or care.
Then again if you have a show like Iron Fist which is just plain bad, you're drawing attention to it months or years later, which is counter-productive.
What will be this decades best american animation?
Will something new rise up or will Rick and Morty be the de facto one?
When will people stop praising Avatar despite it being mediocre? Are Americans so desperate for dramatic, serialized animation that they'll accept anything?
And the fucking Simpsons? Are you serious, nigga? Even if you're limiting yourself to television, there are at least a dozen shows better than early simpsons.
I honestly can't tell if this is bait or if you're actually mentally impaired, but either way I just wanted to drop in to say that you have no place here and we want you to leave.
>fucking rick and morty
christ
Didn't you make this same thread earlier?
>>91457002
>Simpsons not being the best writing and show of the 90's
Do you have anything that would compare? From the 1990 to 1998 they were making back to back some of the best american animation content ever made
>Avatar mediocre
We all know it had an asspull ending, but outside it was still top tier on worldbuilding, design, emotion, and character development in a particularly aimed kids show
However to say it is on the level of JSL is debatable, but I'm just going by the general consensus on this one.
As for why I mentioned rick and morty, again I'm going by what people will deem the best of this decade. If you have other suggestions I'm open ears friend.
>yfw Claire got a mask before Iron Fist
Well she's also been in multiple series whereas Iron Fist so far has only been in one.
>>91456591
I think it's just Luke being kinky.
>>91456591
>In addition to being Night Nurse, Claire Temple is also now Razorfist.
>new character steals the spotlight of an old one who is essentially the face of the franchise
>(that new character) has no interesting personality whatsoever and checks with every modern cliche
>people still defend it
Bringing it back was a mistake. I fucking knew it would get fucked up.
>another "I don't like the episode, nor should you and the show is ruined" thread
(You) and get the fuck >>>/out/
>>91456554
>I fucking knew it would get fucked up.
That's what your mother said when you started speaking
>>91456576
It's not even about that particular episode, you can already see where they are going with this. At least we got comics.
What is the essential Flash? I'm sure there must be a recommendation picture with the legendary storylines and runs.
I will read pretty much anything from any age as long as it's easy to find online. Always been a Spiderfag with some supes here and there and some smaller and I missed on Flash but I think he's really cool.
>>91456470
Best runs are by Waid, Morrison and Johns
>>91456530
Ok, thanks.
>>91456530
It there a character Morrison has written that he isn't that characters best run?
by Matthew Rosenberg and Javier Garrón

Why would a man whose super power involved growing giant not wear clothing that covers his ass and balls?
>>91456028
He wants you to see them and feel inadequate.

What he's just using props and standing on his toes
So, I've yet to watch the newer Transformers show as it airs CN which I practically never watch and also been too lazy to watch it online..is it worth watching? How is it coming along?
Also, Transformers thread
It's terrible
Good fembot design though
Not sure why they made the new series a sequel to prime when it's obvious that it's targeted at an even younger audience.
Feels like it wastes the potential set forth by its predecessors, but the show itself is okay-ish but harder for older viewers to enjoy.
>>91455816
Its fucking shit, is an insult to prime, but hopefully soon a better one will come out
Is this any good?
>>91455724
It's amazing
>>91455724
>Literally one of the best comic books ever written
>Is it any good
>>91455724
I've only read up to a little bit after the cow race angle so far but it was fairly good.
hey anon i would like to remind you:Real life is messy. We all have limitations. We all make mistakes. Which means―hey, glass half full―we all have a lot in common. And the more we try to understand one another, the more exceptional each of us will be.
(...)I implore you: Try. Try to make the world a better place. Look inside yourself, and recognize that change starts with you. It starts with me. It starts with all of us.”
I want Hollywood to stop trying to make kids furries.
>>91455723
I just wanna watch this world burn though
>>91455723
Are foxes supposed to portray jews?
This show is one of the most original, groundbreaking, and inventive shows of all time. It was amazing and did so many new things for a Cartoon Network show like
>continuing relationships
>story arcs
>lore
>humor that was more geared for adults
>animation that feels theatrical
>in depth characters that feel so real
Such an amazing cartoon
>>91455527
And it shat all over that stuff with its art style. It's literally painful to watch.
This show will go down as one of the best cartoons ever, up there with The Simpsons, Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, Batman, Avatar, SpongeBob, etc.
>>91455527
It might be my favourite cartoon of all time, at the very least it's up there. I'm sad there's not much left to go, but glad that they're ending before they drag it out too long. They're on a hot streak right now, so hopefully they can finish on a real high.
Gotta get back
Back to the past
