Is there a version of Daphne that is better than any version of Velma?
The Daphne in the pic is better than the Velma in the pic for sure.
>>94901084
Yeah that is a garbage Velma you posted. So I guess you answered your own question.
Be Cool, Scooby Doo is like one of the only ones where that is the case.
Either you rape this sick freak or I kill him.
>>94901079
There is no other way Batman, you need to rape the Joker!
Why did the mods delete the last thread?
Why don't they just double team the Joker?
So Season 4 of Bojack is gonna be good, right?
Based off the trailer it kind of looks like Bojack won't be in it, so yes.
>>94901078
Bojack did not much wrong
>>94901062
It looks like my favorite boys (Mr PB and Todd) might have cool parts in it so possibly yes
Is Black Panther cool because of who he is and what he does or is he cool because he's black? also would Black Panther realistically have an I.Q. of 70 or 85 irl?
>well known character created more than 50 years ago with dozens of comic appearances in one of the two biggest comics companies in the world
>still have to ask
Why don't you go back to /tv/ you stupid shistposter?
>>94900996
Does age and being well known make something cool or appealing?
Is CalArt the Frankfurt School of western animation?
>>94900908
Students of the Frankfurt School occasionally learned things, so no.
>>94900908
Tim Burton studied on CalArts and made good stuff, also Calarts was opened by motherfucking walt disney.
maybe it actually BECAME the frankfurt school of animation, but that phenomenon seems to touch only the cartoon network animation.
>>94900908
It's close, but the Frankfurt school taught more than "draw good."
if this became an actual TV show/comic would you watch/read it?
>>94900772
Sure, why not? I'd rather see them do their own thing than based it off existing Toonami lore, though. The Absolution would be a space freighter, and episodes would less on anime-style action and more Tom literally being a robot who does not but watch anime and play video games all day between delivery destinations. Sara would be there to bitch at him every day for not doing more with his life. Occasionally they run into space pirates. Hijinks ensue.
>>94900899
I'd watch it but they have to keep Blum. Only way they could sell the humor of a loser with a dead-end job is to have him be all deep voiced and sexy
IT'S FUCKING HAPPENING https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=StGExOavRW8

>Cerberus Syndrome Setting In
Hmmm. Faster than usual.
>KO learns to channel the Satsui No Hado
Nice Bro.

I don't think he'll master it in one episode, seems like it's just been unlocked.
An Accidental Hit 'Begins To Shine' — And Only Because Of 'Teen Titans Go!'
http://www.npr.org/2017/08/25/545906301/an-accidental-hit-begins-to-shine-and-only-because-of-teen-titans-go
>Scan the Billboard rock charts for the week of August 26 and you'll find the usual suspects: Imagine Dragons, Foo Fighters, Portugal. The Man.
>But snuggled in at No. 23 is a new entry to the field: a song called "The Night Begins to Shine" by a band called B.E.R.
>How'd this unknown song, written more than a decade ago, break into the charts? The answer: the cartoon Teen Titans Go!
>>94900667
>While 'toon-based singles often get onto the charts only because of corporate overlord plotting, the success of "The Night Begins to Shine" was actually unplanned.
>A snippet of the song first appeared on the cartoon in 2014. Peter Michail, a director and producer on Teen Titans Go!, was directing an episode called "Slumber Party" when he came up 10 seconds short.
>It's important to note that Teen Titans Go! does not have its own composer. There's no person on the Warner Brothers lot conducting an orchestra along to the cartoon. Instead, directors have to score their own stuff using whatever they can find in their in-house music library.
>"That whole episode, I was scoring it with an '80s vibe," says Michail. "So I literally went into the '80s rock genre and [was] rummaging through these albums and found ["The Night Begins to Shine"]. I was like, 'Aw dude, this song's awesome!'"
>And that's how you get Cyborg — one of the Teen Titans — singing along to B.E.R. in the beginning of the episode. He sings a few lines — and then promptly turns out the lights and goes to bed.
>>94900680
>That was it. It was, the producers admit, a throwaway joke to fill time. But fans heard it differently.
>"Off that episode, people started saying, 'What's this song? Is this a song I've heard before?'" says Teen Titans Go! executive producer Michael Jelenic.
>So the show's producers decided: You know what? This song rules. B.E.R. rules. In the next season, it became Cyborg's favorite song — even if fellow Titans didn't agree with his taste.
>The song's popularity grew online. On YouTube, fans started playing the song over other cartoons. Next came remixes, and that sure-sign symbol of an online hit: hour-long loops.
>This month — and here's where that corporate overlord plotting starts to kick in — Cartoon Network decided to go all-in and air a four-part series about the song. They released an EP. They commissioned covers from musicians like CeeLo Green and Fall Out Boy.
>>94900698
>And that's how B.E.R ended up on the rock charts, beating out radio rock bands The Lumineers and Muse.
>Carl Burnett, the "B" in B.E.R., helped write and produce the song. He's the one who got the assignment in 2005 to write an '80s-style song for a music library. And he's as surprised as anyone by its success. "Who would think it from a song that has its roots as a music library track?" he says.
>I asked him what it was like to have an accidental hit — which, admittedly, is probably not the best way to phrase a question to a songwriter. Luckily, Burnett wasn't offended.
>"Hmm, accidental," he says. "I would say that it's miraculous."
What other comics involve men of fine and refined taste?
>>94900609
So I'm reading this for the first time, what happened to Groot? During Annihilation he spoke in full sentences and then in his first appearance during Conquest all he can say is I am Groot.
What the fuck happened?
I must return to my home planet. They need me.
>>94900593
I don't know you're talking about, Groot wasn't even in Annihilation. Sounds like you haven't actually read these comics.
Anyway, originally it was because his vocal chords were damaged, then it was said to be because his vocal chords hardened with age, then Lanning wrote a backup for Bendis' GOTG where all Groots spoke this way. In a flashback during Skottie Young's series he couldn't speak properly circa Conquest, and now Duggan is hinting that it has something to do with him being diminished.
Groot is simultaneously one of the least developed and most frequently altered characters in comics. It's not really worth caring about IMO, though there is at least one guy on /co/ who carries a ridiculous torch for Giffen's version of the character.
DnA retcon for da lulz.
Since DC seems to be doing Elseworlds movies in addition to those set in the DCEU, do you think they could do a Flash movie with a cast that actually looks like Barry and co?
The Barry and Iris casting is probably the worst casting in the DCEU. Probably even worse than Eisenberg Luthor. If it were up to me, I'd do all I can to reset the Flash casting and cast a late 30s/early 40s blonde guy as Barry, a 30 some redhead as Iris, and a late teen/early 20s guy for Wally.
>>94900778
>>94900574
I can't for the life of me understand why they're trying to turn Barry Allen into Peter Parker.
Since this question has been asked before...
I mean, I'd probably fuck Moses, but marry Quasi.
>>94900573
Prince of Egypt. Didn't have the fucking gargoyles and was able to get away with more because it was a biblical story. Also had a better OST (Hell Fire is great but nothing beats Deliver Us and The Plagues).
>>94900611
Also this
>>94900573
I lean very heavily toward Hunchback of Notre Dame, though Prince of Egypt has a special place in my heart as well. I swear my mother blasted Heaven's Eyes so much back then the whole family knew the lyrics by heart. With her silly Bose radio.
Looks like we're going to hell. Will we see the cloud bitch down there?
I guess Happy is back. No Scantily-clad Cloudia chained and collared to her throne though.
>>94900562
When next comic?
Happy is best girl and I'm bracing myself for another bad end because we can't have nice things.
