The Deliverer of Dankness?
>Hero(s) and Villain(s) are fighting
>Villain sings villain song while kicking their ass.
>Hero gets the upper hand and turns the villain's song back on him.
>>91528022
>Villain and hero Confront eachother
>realise they have more in common than they thought
>turn against the real enemy who has been playing them for fools
>>91528022
Name one time that happened. Besides that's not even a trope that's just a description of on very specific situation.

Batman The Brave and The Bold?
Is this so hard, DC? Don't get me wrong, I didn't hate either MoS or BvS, but I do see their flaws, I don;t fall for the trap of, "not muh." But it's not that hard to write an optimistic, nice guy Superman. Writers who say it's hard are just lazy, too cynical for the job, or incompetent.
How is the superman from the movies not a nice person?
>>91527913
The problem isn't so much Cavill, as it is the world around him. In DCEU, people are either terrified, or see him as Jesus. If this webcomic writer can have people react to Superman like this, they way they should, how can writers for multi million dollar films not manage it?
>>91527913
It's not a matter of nicety by itself. He's too austere.
What are some unexpected crossovers?
Catching up on season 2 of Animals, only to see Lois Griffin show up in this pigeon kid's dream.
Wonder Woman had a guest role on The Brady Kids.

We're all cynical assholes here on /co/. Let's take a break from complaining about Ragnarok or Justice League, and let's talk about what really matters! Comic book moments that hit you right in the feels.
Bonus points for not seeing it coming
More bonus points if it stayed cannon and didn't get retconned like the death of ultimate spider-man
For me it's got to be Dex-Starr as a pet owner and cat lover his origin got me pretty misty.
>>91527734
>Dex-Starr is pretty much a capeBakeneko
Loosely at least.
>I torment and kill person who hurt my owner
>I good kitty.
>>91527874
I didn't even think of that. That's actually works pretty well. I still root for that damn cat every time I see him though.
The end of x-men legacy. David deserved better.
Looking to get into comics. Where should I start?
Start with reading a comic. Works for most people.
And when you're done, read another. That should get you rolling.
>>91527561
Read lucifer.
Is there any /co/ character that can create/generate water/H2O out of atoms or molecules?
>>91527527
>create/generate water/H2O out of atoms or molecules?
As far as I'm aware, there are no characters that can straight up create atoms and molecules.
Mera is able to manipulate water and waterbenders in Avatar are able to gather the h2o molecules that already exist in the air and plants, as well as change the state of water from gas/solid/liquid. Again, manipulate sure, but not create.

Is this the same artist behind Sunstone?!
>>91527732
Yeah, he's going to be the next artist for Aquaman.
So according to my Asian friend from Nagasaki Japan really likes Peridot
And Garnet as well. They hate Pearl
>>91527167
Nice butt peridot or nu-peridot?
>>91527177
Even the voice?
Who are some /co/ girls with canonically hugearms
Galacta?
She-Hulk
>>91527316
I know two dudes with faces like that IRL.
Heathcliff points at the veterinarian.
Obese doctors are an interesting thing.
>>91527059
You should search up the health minister of belguim sometime friendo
I think this might be the first Heathcliff comic that I've actually understood. It's not funny, but I understand it.
Any hopes for season 2?
>>91526824
That they make the trio a lot less generic and boring.
Also, have Jim's mom find out about his secret right away anyway. Having her getting convenient amnesia was unbelievably retarded, and that was when the superior second arc of the season started.
Finally, reveal more about the lady that made the deal with Angar Rot.
>>91527460
Baba Yaga and yeah, I'd like to see more about her.
>>91527478
I thought Baba Yaga was just one of her many names.
What CN cartoons are you nostalgic for? What was your favorite cartoon growing up? Is it still your favorite/has it aged well? What do you miss/don't miss from old CN shows?
Favorite cartoon growing up was probably TTA, but it certainly didn't age well. Don't really feel nostalgic for old cartoons anymore.
I really liked Monster Rancher when I was coming up. Hasn't aged well, but I still like it a lot. And the intro's kind of a banger, if nothing else.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lSq_mHcmvyc
Spongebob was my favorite growing up (pre-movie).
(pic semi-related, CN is my goal but what I'm saying applies to almost any network)
My dream is to get into the animation industry and get my own cartoon show, but the steps needed are very brutal.
1. If you don't already have connections with someone in the animation industry, getting a job - let alone pitching your own cartoon - is very difficult.
2. If you're lucky enough to get the opportunity to pitch your idea, chances of it being accepted are very low.
3. In the unlikely event your idea does get accepted, the chances of it being greenlit for a full series is very low.
4. What's more? If your idea doesn't get greenlit, you've already lost the rights to it, so that series bible you spent years on is wasted on a mere 8-minute short.
>>91526480
I doubt the 4th is true
>>91526500
I know that during the time of the What-a-Cartoon show, if a short wasn't greenlight, the rights would revert back to the creator after a few years. I don't think that's still true though.
On the other hand, it's the easiest it's ever been to self-publish.
What /co/ related series do we all agree are great
Meh, I think Ellis was kind of a one hit wonder with Transmetropolitan
>>91526604
Fell is pretty great post transmetropolitan book
>HawkMAN
>his wife is HawkGIRL
Explain
2 syllables > 3 syllables

It alternates between Hawkgirl and Hawkwoman.

she changed to Hawkwoman later
