It has gotten a bit funnier over the years, but yeah it's nowhere near golden age. A lot of the episodes are still terrible, but it's mostly just mediocre. It still lacks the satirical bite of the original, and the emotional moments are unconvincing (if they do attempt them), but it's gotten more tolerable imo.

it will never be as funny as it used to be. the core of writers left long ago and that kind of chemistry will never exist again.

however the simpsons is still better than the average prime-time sitcom. even if it's a 'bad' episode, it will still make you laugh sometimes.

But frequently writers let superman win races with the flash because he's more popular as a character. Also both characters' maximum speed varies wildly from comic to comic. Sometimes Flash moves faster than instantaneous teleportation and can outrun Death, other times he can't outrun a boomerang thrown by a normal human

Technically the flash uses static created by his thighs to form an electrically charged barrier that scrambles the air molecules orbitals thus releasing the energy of the electrons in the atoms. This throws off the photons of light making it seem like Barry's legs are moving at break neck speed but the reality is he's as slow as the average reader. So to answer your question, yes.

It feels like they're trying to hide the actual quality of the movies from me. Which they already did partially with the Netflix originals where you had to go into the show in order to see what the star rating is.

I understand deviating from the source material to make it more palpable, like giving the character more human proportions, but if it looks so far removed from the actual character and you have to be told who the drawing is of, then that's gone too far.

It stops being the character I liked to a just another OC character I fap to, which makes me lose interest faster.

Trolling aside, I've been wondering this myself. My guess would be a Pokémon style adventure anime, though it would be tricky transferring the game's humor, since the game takes advantage of the fact that the dialogue can be read in multiple ways in your head.
