Are there any /co/ examples of where a comic relief villain no one suspected or thought much of was in fact the true big bad and mastermind behind a plot?

THEORIES SPECTULATENING!
This episode is sexy as FUCK. Not just the Black Canary tit bounce, or even the animation in general, but everything about it is fucking erotic. Everyone who worked on this episode must have had a boner through the entire process.

Did every one just spontaneously decide to rewatch justice leauge this is likenthe fith thread.
......i did too.

It had the best characterization of the justice league good animation and stories.
>That episode where the flash "defeats" one of his villains simply by talking to him and tells him he will visit him in prison
>That episode where batman spends time with a psychic girl until she dies
>THAT sexual tension between hawk girl, John Stewart, and vixen
>Batman being a big brother to hawk girl
>Hawk girl being a big sister to flash
>Supe's inviting MMH over for Christmas
>Gorilla Grodd fixing Flash's toy for him to give to orphans
To this day it is still the best D.C. Animated series
Tonight...ehhhh...toni--well, you see...
Fuck it. This one speaks for itself.

This is gonna make for the strangest goddamn slipshine, isn't it?
>Final battle with one of the most beloved cartoon villains of all time
>The Birth of Evil had a better fight
>Jack in the Graveyard had a better fight
>Fucking Jack vs. Aku had a better fight
Why was the final battle with Aku so lackluster, shouldn't this have been one of the best animated fights in the entire show? Especially with how good Scaramouch and Daughters of Aku fights were in the same season.
>>92780158
Because at this point in his life Jack is so much more experienced with the sword that he would curbstomp Aku with no effort at all. They spend the entire season hammering the point that Aku is deadly afraid of Jack and doesn't dare to fight him anymore. Their last fair fight was in the swamp and Jack wiped the floor with him.
>The Birth of Evil
Jack's dad isn't as OP or experienced as his son, that's why it is so much more intense.
>Jack and the zombies
Jack didn't have the sword, remember how easily he won once he recovered it
>Jack vs Aku
Both in human form. Mostly
Aku would need a sudden power up in order to be able to survive the cut of Jack's blade. Sadly, that was not the case in the finale.
>>92780158
It upsets me greatly too, there should have been one final battle to end things a bit more properly. The episode didn't feel like anything special to me, the way it was handled was like any other regular episode except for the ending of course. They could have done so much more with the finale and not include the pointless wedding scene.
Am I the only one who wanted Jack to just fly out the time portal and murder Aku with a single slice without him even noticing? After everything he went through there was no doubt that Jack would destroy Aku the moment he got back to the past, the short ass fight we got felt drawn out and seeing Aku reduced to a Pac Man was just dumb and disappointing
What does /co/ think of tangled the series?
>>92780062
Pretty fun, rather lively for its animation style.
Only watched one episode of it though.
It's pretty cute. Here's hoping they start airing new episodes again soon.
I've seen very little, but it made Eugene even cuter than he already was.
Wouldn't a more interesting Injustice story be with Batman being the villain?
>>92779551
You have my curiosity. Continue your pitch kind sir.
>>92779722
The entire Injustice series proved that Superman wasn't the one that would be hard to take down. In fact, Batman had him beat several times, and the only reason he kept surviving was because of plot asspulls or Batman being occupied by his morals. But I feel like a world under the rule of Batman would be 100% more engaging and lethal.

What happened with this? Did I miss it? Is it in place now and I just don't notice.
It was a big thing from 2007 to 2010
It's not really mentioned much anymore but it comes up from time to time, like in Scarlett spider or Great Lakes avengers
Both of which are canceled
