Is this studio the equivalent of an unmotivated kid who can do great things when they try?
Why are they content with making shitty movies when they've made wonderful films like Prince of Egypt, How To Train Your Dragon, and Kung Fu Panda?
>>92782760
Because Dreamworks has a terrible case of Sequelscrewup disease.
Anytime time they try to make Sequels to their first endeavors it never comes out as good as the first.
Why do you think we never saw a Sequel to Over the Hedge?
Cause it would bomb so hard people would Riot over it.
>>92782851
What about Shrek 2? I thought that was well-received.
>>92782851
Kung Fu Panda 2 was better than the first.
3 though...
Marvel doesn't care about anything but movies. How do I know this? Because they are effectively killing the X-men franchise out of spite for the fact that only Fox can make movies of them. No new X-men cartoons of video games, and just like Fantastic 4 I'm pretty sure it's only a matter of time before they pull the plug on the comic books too.
For a supposed "comic book company," Marvel seems to have the mindset of a petulant child if they are going to boycott their own franchise just because they can't roll it into their cinematic universe, which let's face it, if Marvel got what they wanted they'd suffocate the
already crowded MCU (not that anyone would care, because Marvel movies always make at least a half billion dollars and get Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, even when they're bad).
Basically, fuck Marvel for destroying the X-men franchise because of some movies. The world doesn't revolve around movies even if that's where Marvel is making a lot of money right now. There is nothing stopping them from making quality X-men cartoons, toys, and video games, and ultimately it's the fans who they are punishing since Fox was hardly getting a dime from tie-in merchandise anyway.
>>92782712
Everyone knows this already.
Marvel made more money from the first Avengers movie than they've ever made from comic books, they're a movie company first and a comic company second now.
Why would they waste their main effort on a dying market worth pennies?
>>92782712
It's all Ike Perlmutter.

The video game industry is bigger than the movie industry, but Marvel won't let Capcom put X-Men characters in the new Marvel vs. Capcom.
For all that Aku goes on about having "finally" captured Jack and his sword in the finale, there were numerous times he'd done it before or had the Samurai utterly on the ropes. "Jack Under the Sea", "Jack vs the Ultra Robots", etc. Each time Aku was undone just before killing Jack because he randomly and unnecessarily chose to screw over someone he'd made a deal with for zero gain. Did it not even once occur to him that if he just made a bargain and kept it, he'd likely be able to do away with Jack?
>"But Aku is evil incarnate! He can't not be evil!"
Giving Scaramouche a new body and giving the Cult of Aku his essence proves he is at least familiar with the idea of rewarding someone for being useful to the Greater Evil/stroking his vanity. Are we seriously to infer that after years and years of endless conflict it didn't even cross his mind that he could at least refrain from double-crossing until Jack was dead and his perpetual rule assured?
>>92782452
He was on the level with the Imakandi, they crossed him.
Old habits die hard.
>>92782452
Aku is usually level with anyone who
1.) Wins
2.) Does not act like Aku has any obligation to give them anything
Aku WILL reward you if you don't remind him you're owed, or if you manage to couch it in sufficiently slavish and grovelling terms. Unless he's in a bad or sadistic mood.
Think of a cartoon character.
Got one? Good now copy and paste this:

What was your favorite episode of this?
The ending was great
>>92782262

>>92782262
Aquaman's outrageous Adventure is the best episode.
Unpopular opinion: The Music Meister fucking sucked.
Loved the show though.
"Rawr."
Come up with funny ideas for episodes.
>A new villain shows up who upstages a jealous Black Hat in every day, even Dementia falls for him.

Are you legit gonna burn this to the ground?
The fuck is your problem /co/
How are you better than people that create fanfics and do OC?
>>92527239
OP is a retard, just ignore the thread.
Someone redpill me on not killing the villains? How is not protecting the peace by removing people who are a deliberate threat to the public safety?
>>92782163
"redpill" is such a stupid, idiotic term.
>>92782163
Because writers would have to keep coming up with new villains.
Superheroes aren't cops or politicians. They defend the defenseless. The people are the ones who decide how to punish criminals.
Heathcliff catches the ball.
>>92781764
This has to be fake.
There's actually something you could pretend is a joke in there.

What are some comics/shows that have a qt martial arts girl in them?

Swamp thing>Poison Ivy
He is the only one fit to protect The Green.
No ones ever argued against this ffs.
>>92781372
Ivy is little more than Swamp Thing's concubine.
What's The Green?

Why the fuck don't school shooters actually train with their firearms before shooting up a school? Their kill rate could be so much higher if they learned proper shot placement.
