Are episodes with guest stars almost universally bad?

Simpsons early seasons did them right, specially the Michael Jackson one.

No.
If Wolverine/Logan/James Howlett's specific"mutation" is hereditary, then how does he keep registering as mutant in Marvel, would that also mean that midgets, gingers and double jointed people would also ping mutant readers? Maybe he has the "X-gene", and THAT'S all it takes. Just weird that you don't hear about other mutants with same-power lineages.
It's not compatible with real world definition of mutant, as we're all literally mutants.
It'd be accurate to pass mutant genes along.

>Just weird that you don't hear about other mutants with same-power lineages.
It happens, I can only assume you don't pay attention.

Can we have Comic Book Movie Supervillains who are fun and memorable again?
They took the Joker, cut him in half and separated his evil "wicked" side and his wacky "funny" side, and called those two respective halves "Riddler" and "Two Face"
Hardly memorable
>>93006823
My favorite batman movie right there
>>93006823
John Luigizama as Clown is still THE best villain performance in a comic book movie.

Did they try to bring this gimmick to the comics?
Has "music" ever worked in a comic? Also, $500+ for a fucking Walkman on eBay. I really want to cosplay MCU Star-Lord.

>get 2x4 plank
>metalic paint
>hollow out a cavity for an MP3 player
>make a prop walkman with mp3player inside
done
>>93006533
It wasn't a gimmick in the movies either and that price isn't solely because of the movie, it also happens to be the first(!) Sony Walkman.
There's a bunch of clones/copies made in Japan during that time period, I suggest trying to track those down throw some paint on a Grundig Beat Boy 100 slap some Sony Walkman logos on there and you've got yourself a pretty accurate replica.
>>93006533
I bet if you went to an antique store or some thrift shops you'd have a chance of finding a tape player like that, OP. Worth a shot.

How have superheroes changed your life /co/? Have you ever made an important decision in a way you wouldn't have otherwise? Been inspired through a tough time by a certain hero? This is the time to share!

When I face a tough decision where morals is in conflict with my personal gain or whatever, I sometimes find myself thinking "What would Peter do?"Then I summon the devil and make a deal with him so he'll fix it all in exchange for my future daughter.
>>93006451
I hold Peter's mantra of "With great power there must also come great responsibility" very close to my heart. And that means that since I have no real power, I have no real responsibility.

By any chance is this that Elric series that got storytimed here a week or two or three ago? If so, thanks.

That my luck is none too good
Yes. Been meaning to do the entire series again but I dont have the energy now that work has started.
I've been reading King's Batman since day 1 of Rebirth, and I gotta say I'm disappointed. I dropped the series last week. It just feels like an exercise in mediocrity. Try to keep RECENT DEVELOPMENTS out of your opinions as well.
I like it more than Snyder's Batman btw
>>93006257
How could you not like the last issue?
>>93007409
I liked it, but it was probably just because it had Swamp Thing, not that it was particularly good. I thought I Am Gotham was OK but felt pointless, and I Am Suicide and I Am Bane were just crap in my opinion
>WB originally planned to release the movie after JUSTICE LEAGUE.
>Michelle MacLaren was originally slated to direct, but dropped out due to creative differences. Catherine Hardwicke, Mimi Leder, Karyn Kusama, Julie Taymor and Tricia Brock were also approached before Patty Jenkins was hired.
>WB studied two alternative scripts, one set in the Crimean War and one set in World War I, before ultimately choosing the latter.
>Jenkins was initially adamant that the movie be set in World War II as per the comics, but was convinced otherwise by Snyder.
>Liam Hemsworth and Alexander Skarsgard were approached for Steve Trevor before Chris Pine was cast.
>Nicole Kidman and Cate Blanchett were approached for Queen Hyppolita before Connie Nielsen was cast. Nielsen had previously been approached to play Lara Lor-Van in MAN OF STEEL.
>Eva Green was reportedly approached for Doctor Poison before Elena Anaya was cast.
>Sean Bean was reportedly approached for Ares before David Thewlis was cast.
>The original script was heavily reworked on set after the poor critical and commercial reception to BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE, to inject more humor and a more hopeful tone.
>In the original ending, Diana abandons humanity for 100 years after Steve Trevor's death, desillusioned by mankind's violence, and it's Superman's death that reminds her of how selfless people can be and inspires her to return to action. After negative results from test-screenings, a new ending was added in reshoots where Diana remains protective of humanity throughout the years.
Eva Green would have made a much more memorable Dr. Poison.
Interesting stuff.

This insane argument Snyder keeps trying to push that Superman's death is ipso facto some turning point for the DCEU is some of the dumbest shit he's tried to peddle his entire career.
Telling us over and over that this character is somehow heroic and inspiring isn't going to work no matte rhow many characters you write that say it out loud.
This is Plum, the aquatic alien waifu.
Do say something nice about her.
