What's it about /co/
Spider-Man as a Mr. A style objectivist hero
>>93027194
I imagined that Peter would fully embrace being Spider-Man, and completely give up on a personal life, and that he would actively stalk and bully the fuck out of his main cast of villians
>A proposed graphic novel in the wake of the success of Arkham Asylum, with art by Simon Bisley. Morrison expressed a desire to return to the Ditko Spider-Man. "It's not Spider-Man in Arkham Asylum or anything - it's action all the way with things blowing up from page one but it still won't be a great deal like the Spider-Man that everyone is used to"
>According to the webchat Morrison gave at Next Planet Over in 1999, the story was to begin with an attack by Mysterio, resulting in Spider-Man waking in a parallel world where Aunt May died and Peter never married.
>"The Spider-Man of that world is a creepy, skinny Ditko guy, who lives on his own and is shunned by the neighbors." said Morrison, "He only comes alive when he's out on the rooftops leaping about and squirting jets of white stuff over everything. Freud would have loved the story as the creepy but ultimately decent Spider-Man meets his counterpart from a place where Peter married a supermodel and made lots of money. The story was based around that tension and the ultimate redemption of the creepy Ditko character. I'd do something different now."
Which villain had the better laugh? Mako's Aku or Hamill's Joker?
They were both pretty based, but my money's on Mako.
Aku's laugh always felt genuinely petty and mirthful, whereas The Joker's always felt a little bit forced at time in-context, which admittedly does work for his character and only really detracts a hair off his overall performance.
>>93026659
I'm going with Joker. The variety of sounds Hamill makes doing the the different laughs is really impressive.
>>93026871
the Justice League episode Injustice for All had a godly Joker laugh

What if Punch Time Explosion had come out in the era of Adventure Time, Gumball, Regular Show and Uncle Grampa?
It would still be a bad game.
>>93026486
This, except with a worse and/or more limited roster.
>>93026356
Well then we wouldn't have a large roster now would we?Granted if it did have a big roster, it would probably be loaded up the ass with TTG characters.
A whole week of new episodes of Uncle Grandpa begins today at 4:15 with two new episodes.
Odd-yssy
>Uncle Grandpa and the gang must retrieve Tiger from the pound before she's adopted out.
Surprise Party
>Mr. Gus and Belly Bag are throwing a surprise party for Pizza Steve, as long as Uncle Grandpa doesn't spoil their surprise.
Thank god someone made a thread

What will Adam Devine do for money now?
Been reading Barry Allen's Flash since New 52 up until its' current run.
From what I've read and seen from this board is that Wally's Flash stories are way superior than Barry's.
Which volume of Wally stories should I start with?
>>93026050
Volume 2 is the only one Wally stars in. You can start at the Mark Waid run which is around issue 60 of the volume, but th Mike Baron run is important if you want to appreciate Wally's development later on.
>>93026130
What about Grant Morrison's run?
>>93026521
That comes after Waid's initial run. Around 120, can't remember.

I've never understood how they didn't get sued by McFarlane.
Blink or the Exiles need to come back. It went on for 100+ issues but no one at Marvel seems to remember it existed
this bitch
This was supposed to pave the way for R-Rated animated movies and prove to the big adults that cartoons are not just for little kids. What went wrong?
>>93025572
It had the humor of a 12 year old who just learned what swear words were.

Why did they all need to have obnoxious voices?
>>93025148
Because kids are fucking retarded. Unless a character is ugly and has a disgusting voice, they won't get that he's evil. And everyone who's evil is an uggo with a shitty voice by extension, good looking people with nice voices are good by definition.

ITT we post the definitive voices for characters with different versions of themselves in cartoons
I'll start

Man that's a tough one, I think the ones I liked the most were the guys from the 80's Spider-Man cartoons, and the guys who did the voice of Doom on the 90's FF cartoon. And maybe Lorne Kennedy from the 90's Capcom games.
>Spider-Man: Keaton
>Batman: Conroy
>Superman:Newbern
>>93025206
Ralph James has to be my favorite. I like Kennedy too and I wish he got to do more work as Doom. Maurice LaMarche has a great version too, actually.
I really think Simon Templeman's version is overrated.
Youngblood thread.
Discuss Youngblood/Extreme/Liefeldverse stuff.
The relaunch is pretty good so far, go out and buy a copy!
Starter discussion: Who's your all-time favorite YB member?
>>93024675
Photon, because aliens are cool and his design was just awesome.
>>93024675
Diehard because his design was cool as fuck and he's a cyborg supersoldier from WWII.
>>93024966
Rob got weird with the Acurans
Now that the galactic federation is gone, what reason does Rick have to bring Morty on adventures with him? Do you guys think they'll mention that in the second episode or will it just be overlooked?
>>93024324
Federations of other universes? Or was it some kind of centralized multi dimensional empire?
>>93024324
I'm pretty sure C137 has the whole (remaining) Council of Ricks after him now. Morties were shown to protect against that too.
>>93024324
he'll bring him on adventures with him for shits and giggles
he'll bring sometimes his mom and sometimes his sister, but never his dad
