So /co/...Cartoon Network, Disney, Nick, or Adult Swim?
>>93194515
Now? Disney
Early 2010's? Cartoon Network
00's? Adult Swim
90's? Nickelodeon
>>93194578
Just any channle you like the best.
>>93194578
I'd say early to mid-90s CN, mid to late-90s Nick.
Why did this show decide to take itself serious?
>>93194487
it never did that
if you took it seriously you are retarded
>>93194487
I always wondered if everything was the kids imagination or if it was really happening (in the context of cartoons).
>>93194487
It was a decade ahead of its time, but thankfully it knew when to fucking stop before it became too dramatic.
After all this effort to make the Inhumans click...
After ALL the story prominence...
AFTER ALL THAT...

THIS is what the trailer is like?!
>>93194397
Even the palace or wherever those first scenes are set looks cheap.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say the actor playing Maximus is the only good actor they have and that's why nobody else talks.
>Filmed with IMAX cameras
I've heard that Grant Morrison's New X-Men feels like a culmination/celebration of the series up until that point.
I have never read any X-Men stories before and there are like a thousand of those, what's the ideal reading list before getting into it?
>>93194364
>like a culmination/celebration of the series up until that point.
I've never heard that. It's mostly an attempt to breath new life into a comic that was floundering and once he left they let Whedon do a back to basics story.
>>93194364
>a culmination/celebration of the series up until that point.
Not really. It pushed the franchise forward, so of course Marvel immediately had to fuck it up by reversing as much as possible of it after Morrison left.
>>93194364
More like a satire/deconstruction of all the stale boring stuff that previous writers regurgitated over and over while Morrison adds some of his own touches.
Anyway, if you wanna get into X-Men, you gotta read Claremont, start with Giant Size X-Men #1, followed by X-Men #94 and so on.
You can skip anything not written by Claremont, desu, especially in preparation for Morrison's run.
>Find VCR tapes from Toonami 1999 to 2003
>Still have commercials and all
>Decide to watch them
>Start to feel excited
>Tapes end
>Feel deeply depressed
I just want to go back to those times, I don't like it here, /co/
If I found a VCR tape odds are it would be nothing but Dragon Ball Z, or late night softcore cable porn.
>>93194284
The people behind Toonami Aftermath might appreciate those commercials.
Is a time machine to go back possible or not?
So Superbro is as dead as you can get in a comic, right? I mean, he "revived" im rebirth, but in actuallity he just got folded into Superdad, since imo rebirth Superman has the personality/conciousness/subconcious of Superdad. But since he has already been "revived" even though he hasn't! new 52 superman will probably remain six feet under forever, right? I can't think of any other more permanent death than this.
I like to think Barry never came back and that Wally got so good with the speed force that he created a speed force clone of Barry with his imagination the same way he can create costumes out of the speed force.
>>93194188
Permanent Death only happens when everyone forgets a character. Like, all these stupid "The only characters who stay dead are Gwen Stacy, Jason Todd and Uncle Ben" shit doesn't work because you keep bringing them up over and over again. OF COURSE a writer is going to bring them back! You won't shut up about them not coming back to life that it's a shocker when they do!
If 30 people on /co/ started to post about Wallflower all of a sudden on Twitter, ask about Wallflower on CBR message boards, sent Emails to Marvel, and even commissioned artists to draw her again? Within the next 5 years, Wallflower would be back alive in comics.
It's all about being forgotten to make a permanent death happens.
>>93194188
Wouldn't Wolverine be on that list?
Thoughts on Chris "Kirbopher" Niosi? Just found out he's part of the main cast for OKKO.
>>93194134
He is? That's really cool.
>>93194134
Hey good for him. Glad he's making it in the biz.
I also hate the shit he makes/made
>>93194134
Tome is garbage and his art style is ugly, but good on him for becoming a VA.
Favorite crossdresser?
Bilnore is obviously top tier.
>>93194170
7/10 would still regrettably fap to.
>>93194170
ah, a man of culture
Three in-universe days later, and this relationship is still the most unhealthy, cancerous pairing it ever was.
And they mentioned Joyce without making reference to how her attempted rapist was murdered three days ago, so I guess that's a thing.
>>93193798
>You're being moved
So they're going through with that now? They found someone in the 3 day span? That fast?
>>93193871
There's usually a waiting list of people wanting to move out of their room and into some other room at any dorm
>>93193798
It's been approximately nine days in real-world time since Amber killed Ryan.
As for Billie/Ruth, this is still so unhealthy that it's borderline suicide-pact. I'm pretty sure Panel Two is also Willis handwaving that "Oh, Billie is getting moved out, but it's not like she won't be out of the comic entirely" or whatever. It's magic; I ain't gotta explain shit.
Ultimately, it's just a whole lotta nothing again. There is no reason to be dragging any of this along for as long as it has.
>>93193871
I'm still going to assume that Billie will remain on the wait list for as long as possible until Willis can think of a story that allows her to endure the pain of separation AGAIN while also ending with Billie not actually needing to be moved out, or whatever.
How the fuck is Wakanda so advanced if it's in the middle of Africa? How did it become so advanced in the first place? Also, could someone edit Alberto Barbosa's face onto Black panther please?
>>93193642
Why can't /tv/ stay in there own fucking board?
>>93193642
is surrounded by mountains on most sides, it is rich in natural resources, its warriors seized fertile land on its one exposed border and it told whitebois they couldn't compete
>>93193642
vibranium, son
>Those days when characters from different shows would interact with each other during promos
>>93193460
CN and Nick don't have enough variety of shows to make that interesting anymore.
why can't we go back bros
what went so wrong
>>93193460
This was why I enjoyed Kids WB more than Fox Kids. Most of the bumpers and promos had various characters goofing off around each other.
ITT: The best /co/ toys ever
The Real Ghostbusters action figures were amazing, too.
Just recently got Revoltech Deadpool and goddamn, he's a lot of fun. Really looking forward to Spidergwen this month.
Arctic Attack Batman
The Masterpiece Transformers line was boss as fuck.
Does anyone else remember Raggedy Ann and Andy: A Musical Adventure? Pic related; I got into Madoka Magica partly because "THAT scene" made me think of the f'ing Greedy. Watch and agree.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iC7PtQh4gA8
It was on first-gen Disney Channel a lot (yeah, I'm aging myself here, and I don't care). Damn, that channel was eclectic as hell back then. They showed this, The Phantom Tollbooth, The Raccoons, I think the Rankin-Bass LOTR, even The frigging Point, and a lot of forgotten Disney educational shorts back when Disney itself was almost dying. Why were their programmers so ballsy at such a dark time in company history?
So...Musical Adventure/1st-gen Disney Channel thread? (And PS: do any of your anime fans wonder if Akiyuki Shinbo and co. know about Richard Williams?)
>>93193436
Watched it all the time when I was a kid, loved it, very sad that it hasn't gotten a proper release this generation of media
Bumpo for interest, OP
>>93193436
Shinbo is a mixed bag for me but he has great taste, he's a huge mignola fan, you can see it in one of sayonara zetsubou sensei endings, and soultaker is basically a love letter to mignola
Why these two didn't have third kids?
Because they knew that race mixing is bad
