I´ve just finished Samurai Jack...what´s the lesson or the theme? I get it, the plot and all of that, but the contrast between the first seasons and the last one confuse me.
In what regard does the contrast confuse you? I'm not sure I'm getting what you mean.
The CN seasons are like a parody, they have a meaning and speak about honor, how our acts have repercutions, but at the same time use that topic to make a parody of itself. The season 5 is not a parody of anything and deal with adult topics, I get it, but in the end I haven´t learnt anything. Ryck and Morty teels you that everything is bullshit and we are nothing comparated to the space, but at the end it tells you that it dosen´t mind because wanted or not, what we love is important. Samuray Jack´s end is like telling you "Congratulations, that´s the end you wanted, right? And that´s what I would want if I were 10. Maybe there´s something I haven´t caught.

I personally belong to that thought wagon that believes that not all stories must have a moral. However, if anything, I think Samurai Jack's teachings are those of hope and the goodness in the world that surrounds us. After all, it was Jack's goodness that provided him with his allies; a good deed he did onto them paid back when he needed them most. At the end, he got his reward and managed to return the world to its original state before the disease and evil that Aku is infected it.
Plebeian: V for Vendetta
Contrarian: Neonomicon, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
Patrician: From Hell.
Objective truth
From Hell?
That's a funny way to spell Top Ten
They're all for plebs. Moore is a hack
From hell wasn't readable for me, and the art was uninteresting shit.
Loeg was actually pretty dumb, didn't realize this until reading through recently.
V for vendetta actually has subversive and important discussions in it on the nature of anarchism, how it's been forgotten do to newspeak equating it with chaos, and also how even ordinary people can get caught up in fascist governments/movements even though they might still mean well.
Neonomicon is top Kek.
I'm looking for anime cartoons about the work place. If it's about programmers even better.

What's a story without a good antagonist? Lets have a thread dedicated to the most sadistic, most eloquent, most intimidating, most terrifying, or just the most villainous characters in comics or cartoons. Those that make you instantly excited every time they appear and you just love to hate.

There aren't many villains as good as the one you posted, unfortunately. Megabyte from Reboot and Megatron from Beast Wars are the only ones that come to mind off the top of my head.

Lord Hater, number 1 superstar

Doesnt have to necessarily be a cartoon villain. I'm not well versed in comics, but there's gotta be some interesting ones out there no?
Here's another one of my favorites. I always liked Him because unlike most of the villains out there, he feels like one of the few that actually got shit done. Like I dont remember many times his plan was ruined at the last second by the ppg's. I mean that episode where they're sent into the future samurai jack style is still one of the most memorable.
>Said he would kill us all after his death.
>Two days after Batman dies.
It's fucking happening /co/mrads. He killed the one guy who could stop him!

This really autistic kid had a crush on Ember from Danny Phantom. So he shot up supermarket he worked at because he thought when he killed himself afterwards he'd join her ghost squad as a lady ghost. Then they'd reak havoc on the world and by 2200 we'd be all dead. He has a 17 hour manifesto on youtube.

Here's the deal: Grandpa Hershel gives your 10 shekels to invest in the market. Which company do you buy into?
Is A Distant Soil any good? I have a feeling it's either an incomprehensible mess or a potential huge guilty pleasure after reading the first couple dozen pages but I'm not sure I want to invest the labor in this already convoluted backstory if nothing actually happens.
How did Barry die post-Crisis if CoIE never happened after the universe was 'reset'?
>>93122296
>How did Barry die
Saving the world
>>93122320
Do they ever get more specific than that? Does anyone (in universe) distinctly remember how he died?
Prior to Flashpoint, the core events of Crisis DID still happen in so far as the Anti-Monitor tried to destroy all of existence in the positive matter universe via white death cloud.
In this version, Crisis #1-5 still happened as did #8 and #12. Barry died shortly after the Monitor was killed via the brainwashed Harbringer, with his life force fueling the Vibration Fork towers located throughout the past, present, and future.
The official post-Crisis version of Crisis was never told outright told except in excerpt: Flash #150 had the final battle against the Anti-Monitor but was full of continuity errors. Negative Woman was MIA despite being a crucial part of the final battle strategy, as the negative spirit had to hold Anti-Monitor in place, while Dr Light absorbed the power of a nearby star to try and one shot him to death. Also, the battle showed the Charlton version of Captain Atom being part of the fight even though Captain Atom doesn't debut until AFTER Crisis ended.
Justice League Incarnations #5, they retold the story of Crisis from the POV of Vibe and Gypsy. It was the first time they gave a glimpse of the "official" post-crisis version of the story and Waid did a back-up that confirms the notion that Barry died midway through the Crisis to stop the Anti-Monitor from killing everyone on Earth with an anti-matter canon he was building.
Post Flashpoint? Crisis never happened. PERIOD. So Barry and Kara never died and Dove (another Crisis fatality) died at the hands of Mr Twister, before the original Titans disbanded.

What exactly was her plan to take over the world? One backwater village where nobody even owns a gun isn't going to prove much. How do a bunch of plants fight the military?
It's Saturday and that means it's time for a Spider-man Storytime. Tonight's episode features Doctor Curtis Connors looking and acting out of character and by that I mean he doesn't turn into a Lizard Man and he's not really doing any kind of real science and he's hanging around in Florida. Also there's an Australian Hunter lurking about doing what Kraven would do and honestly wouldn't Kraven be better if he was a drunk Australian stereotype?
Anyways onto the show.
