How are these games for someone who isn't a huge gamer, but is a huge Disney fan? I'm not very good at something like, say, a Halo or Final Fantasy, but the idea of some sprawling Disney multiverse with a complex plot really intrigues me.

Not all writers choose to do that. Busiek kinda went a little overboard in Superman: Secret Identity. Some writers choose to forgo it entirerly and leave it to the reader but I feel like those guys are few and far between.

Gunn's struggling with a retcon he wants to do to GOTG 1 and says it has something do do with the mugshot background images. The most likely thing he would change would be to make it so Rocket didn't meet Rocket before GOTG 1, so he can meet her for the first time in GOTG 3! He's apparently also said he wants to explore the coonie's backstory in -3.
This would be easy to fuck up but fingers crossed, maybe Rocket will get a happy ending when the series finally ends. A "Rocket and Lylla being together" sort of ending.

Miles is half black, half Puerto Rican; his culture is extremely important to him as a character. He's also a teenager trying to make it through high school in one piece while also keeping New York City safe. (A tale as old as time, amirite?)
This seems like a lie. I can honestly not remember his culture being important to him once.
