Considering she's one of the few Smurfs who isn't a borderline retard, she's probably got the whole placed pussywhipped into worshiping her. And frankly, I wouldn't blame her. Smurf Village is a hole full of literally one-note caricatures, and it must be a chore to live there when you're the only one who isn't bound by a single personality gimmick.

Seriously, two of the movies have her as the protagonist simply because she's the only one you can actually work with for a real story, especially considering she's also the only one with a defined back story. Fucking hell, the Smurfs is fucking boring.

Yes, but trying hard to dampen enthusiasm. After decades of waiting, fan fic reading, hopes dashed and renewed then dashed again, for this to live up to expectations is a nearly impossible task. I enjoyed it as a kid, and I'm not a kid anymore.

So I'm trying to be realistic about it. I don't need it to satisfy old fogies like me, I just hope it retains the original flavor and that it's good enough to capture the attention of a new generation of kids. If it does well enough to launch the Patakis, that would be gravy.

Honestly, I don't think a lot went wrong until last season. They tried to do a topical story-driven plot and they wrote themselves into a corner when DT won the election. It probably would have been a better South Park season if Clinton had won, but whatever, it's almost certain that Trey and Matt now know not to do that again.

I think Darkseid is a Superman villain.
I don't like Batman taking on villains that threaten the entire planet / solar system / galaxy / universe. The only villain he should fight on an apocalyptic scale is Ra's al-Ghul.
Wonder Woman is a redundant character, and has no need to exist.
The Flash doesn't represent anything that pleases the human psyche, and his gimmicks have all been used up. He should stop existing.
The Green Lantern Corps is a joke because there is literally no reason for Earth to be as high of a priority as it is, and yet for some reason the Corps can send out almost half a dozen of its best to protect it. It's an over-inflated glorified army, the Foreign Legion of space, and shouldn't exist.
Martian Manhunter would be a great character if Superman didn't exist, but Superman exists, and therefore MM shouldn't exist.
Hawkman and Hawkgirl only matter because of their maces being able to beat up Superman since they have a magic alloy. This means that the metal itself is important, and not them, so they shouldn't exist.
Only Dick and Damian are good Robins, because them becoming Robins makes sense. Tim and Jason shouldn't exist. Also Bruce was still a dumbass for letting Dick fight crime.
