Hey man, tell you what man, the dang ol' smoke detector man, taken away "freedom of smoke" man, tell you what man, dang ol' joke, man.
He's never coming back is he?
>>93344598
"Wait and see."
Man, fuck marvel.
>>93344598
I'm sure an Iron Man writer will eventually bring back Rhodey who really likes the character. Because nobody else will.
Why do this couple triggers so many anons in /co/? Johnny is a pretty cool guy
>>93344450
I like them a lot desu
And Johnny is cool he's pretty cartoony and funny
I like Johnny, but that's because I like nice stoner/bro-type guys.
He just wasn't fleshed out enough for people to self-insert as.
>>93344450
Do you think they've ever had sex while she's in her bat form?
>Hates every capeshit movie that isn't made by Snyder
>Blindly defends everything he does
>Hates Wonder Woman for not being a Snyder shitfest
What will it take for DC fans to exercise this cancer from them?
>>93344339
Snyder worked on Wonder Woman though. It's why they had a big CGI fight with Ares at the end (like Doomsday at the end of BvS). He even had a cameo in the movie.
>>93344339
I love BvS and really like MoS and WW. Also Snyder wrote the story for WW and by all accounts is the reason the tone was the way it was.

>According to comments by the director, Diana’s differences from the dark, tortured, and vengeful versions of Batman and Superman that launched the DCEU were intended from the start.
“She offers a unique opportunity to speak to what it is to be a strong, powerful, independent woman. It’s a glance that is necessary in the world, as well as the way that we represent heroes onscreen. Having that equal representation of male and female energy is really important to me. I love that there’s a purity to Wonder Woman. She doesn’t have the broken past, she’s not seeking revenge on people that wronged her. She can just be a hero.” - Zach Snyder
http://screenrant.com/wonder-woman-movie-tone-dceu-change/
>Jenkins describes the impact that critical reactions to Batman V Superman and Suicide Squad had on her own production… rather, the total lack of it: “It could have, and it certainly does in the industry. In our case we were incredibly fortunate, DC didn’t ever give me a mandate of tone.
http://screenrant.com/wonder-woman-movie-needs-steve-trevor/
“Early on we talked about whether or not we would bring him into the story. Steve is so deep in the mythology that after some debate we found that just like Wonder Woman needs Steve, we needed Steve too. We need to be able to look at Wonder Woman through the eyes of the audience. And it’s interesting that those eyes be Steve’s, in that he almost represents the status quo. He also has to be changed by Wonder Woman. He has to see the world through her eyes and then he had to become a hero in his own way, inspired by her.” - Snyder
Actually, no. I know you're trolling, but it's a real thing. Marvel fans hate every comic movie not made by Marvel Studios. They believe anything other than the Marvel formula isn't good enough for a movie. That includes Fox Marvel, Sony Marvel, and DC. They hate everything. Snyder fans actually enjoy Snyder's films. They love to analyze them and have fun watching them over and over. They also like watching Marvel films. All Marvel films no matter the studio or the formula.
The grievances against "Spider-Man: Homecoming" are obvious by now, but which parts are you guys actually looking forward to?
I, for one, really enjoy the movie's approach to the Vulture and his crew. A team of working-class criminals who just want to steal things and avoid superhero attention is pretty unique to the MCU and comic book movie villains as a whole, and Keaton looks great in the role.
>>93344297
>Who steal things and avoid superhero attention
Coming Soon to DC
>>93344354
>Axed from the TV show because "Legends of Tomorrow" killed Captain Cold and redeemed Heatwave.
>The movie is already a production clusterfuck and probably won't even feature them.
These guys will probably be the best Rogues we'll get on live-action.
I thought Vulture was an old guy looking to deage himself but the process kind of drives him cooky like Ras and the Lazarus pit.
Already the MCU does what it's done since Disney takes over and just gives lip-service to the characters while it makes it's own OC and slaps their name on it.
Who is the best Batgirl and why is it Cassandra Cain?
>>93344081
Cause she had a good ongoing that was remarkable.
>A city of justice, a city of love
A city of peace, for everyone of us
We all need it, can't live without it
Gotham City, oh, yeah
What did he mean by this?
What did they mean by this?
>It's going to be a long, cold summer.
What did they mean by this?
>>93343892
That we're gonna have an ice summer.
Does Karate Kid have a chance?
>>93343542
He lost to Batman.
So no.
>>93343542
i was actually going to make a similar post about this but what /co/ characters can beat baki the grappler.
>>93343589
I thought he beat Superman straight up
Not sure if anyone talked about it here but here's a thread about it.
http://www.animationmagazine.net/tv/technicolor-sony-team-on-cg-sly-cooper-series/
>Sly Cooper follows the adventures of an irresistibly charismatic raccoon, a modern-day Robin Hood, who restores justice to his city one theft at a time. Sly is aided by his two best friends, a muscular hippo named Murray and a brainy turtle named Bentley. Hot on Sly’s trail is Inspector Carmelita Fox, a morally upright cop with an unfortunate crush on the charming bandit, as well as a band of villains, each one more strange and colorful than the last.
So either the movie is dead and we're getting this instead, or the movie is still happening but we're also getting this as well.
Either way I'm cautiously optimistic about this.
It's still cg, though. The games had an excellent style going for them, and they threw it out.
>>93343532
>So either the movie is dead and we're getting this instead, or the movie is still happening but we're also getting this as well.
Or Option C, they're taking the movie and chopping it into a 3-part miniseries that will lead into the TV series and acting like it was intended to be that way all along.
>>93343532
>CG animated
>same studio from Alvin and the chipmunks
for a moment I was with ilusion, but now... JUST
>DC makes a film just about everyone likes
>Critics praise it as much as the audience
>Even most Marvel fans like it
So why do DC fans still seem so angry? Even when you guys get something nice, you find a way to get salty about it. Hell, the board is stuffed with DC rage today.
>>93343377
It was shit. No Marvelfan like this.
>>93343377
>Even when you guys get something nice
We got something incredibly fucking nice with Mos and the UC of Bvs but that wasn't good enough for you inflexible selfish mother fuckers who won't tolerate valid unique alternate versions of characters. Your childish fucking cowards who won't try or accept new things.
It's probably because they felt compelled to defend terrible movies for so long they don't know what to do now that a Dcu movie is actually good
>Hugh Jackman was slated to make a cameo appearance as Wolverine in Sam Raimi's SPIDER-MAN, but couldn't make it to New York City in time for shooting.
Imagine an early 2000's MCU.
>Tobey Maguire
>Hugh Jackman
>Ben Affleck
>Jessica Alba
>Nicolas Cage
>Eric Bana
Could've been kino.
>>93343749
>>Tobey Maguire
>>Hugh Jackman
>>Ben Affleck
>>Jessica Alba
>>Nicolas Cage
>>Eric Bana
It hurts me how irrelevant half of them are now.
>>93343350
>Imagine an early 2000's MCU.
It would be total shit because most of the people making capekino didn't even know what the fuck they were doing in early 2000's.
Darkest paul taking out the trash
well shit, I was just starting to like Bastion

Now would be a good time for that "totally impossible teleportation" thing.
In fact I would have led with that, to gain spellcasting distance.

This will never make more than 300 millions.
>>93343355
"...on opening weekend," is the rest of that sentence.
With most superheroes I tend to like their more obscure villains than their main enemy. Completely indifferent to the Green Goblin, always waiting for Venom to show up. The joker I like but I think the Red Hood and Ra's al Ghul have more thematic potential.
What are your favorite archenemies? In what cases do you think the primary villain is the best? For me they are Lex Luthor and Magneto

Thawne
Magento
Black Manta
He just really, really, really, REALLY hates Aquaman, and I admire that. Hes like The Monarch, only with a bigger murder boner
>>93343339
Why does Thawne hate Barry so much?
