Why do normies treat Capeshit like an identity and something like a lifestyle rather than just a hobby for cheap entertainment?
>>93347913
>normies follow capeshit as a lifestyle
that would be so nice anon, that would mean normies would try to be nice like superman or chill like flash
for them capeshit is just a hobby for cheap entretainment
>>93347913
Because some actual social retards in here give 'em reasons to.
You mean to tell me you've never seen those threads about guys flashing out their nerd merch and apparel?
>>93347913
Most normies have no idea where to even buy comics. I had to introduce some people to my LCS because they were interested but never took the time or effort to look for a shop. Even then I know they will never create a pull list or be interested in coming back because of lack of conveniency.
One of them capured anon! i wonder what he is seeing right now...

What's this? Why I'm on Reddit! Everyone's so nice, and the points don't matter! It's just like that show with Drew Carey! Oh boy there's an AMA with Drew Carey! Oh boy I'm being invited to Drew's house! Oh boy I'm-
New episode of iZombie tonight at 9.
First half of the season finale begins tonight.
Looking for Mr. Goodbrain, Part 1
>Liv consumes the brains of someone from Ravi’s past and it has her wanting to sleep with every guy in Seattle, as well as having some very intimate visions of Ravi.
Looking for Mr. Goodbar is pretty much a /r9k/ story:
>On the evening of New Year's Day 1973, Quinn went across the street from her apartment to a bar named W. M. Tweeds, where she met John Wayne Wilson. Wilson's friend, Geary Guest, left around 11:00 p.m., before Wilson met Quinn. Wilson and Quinn went to her apartment, where they smoked marijuana and attempted to have intercourse. As Wilson would later tell his attorney, he was unable to achieve an erection. He claimed that Quinn insulted him and demanded that he leave her apartment, and an argument ensued. After a struggle, Wilson picked up a knife and, according to his police statement, stabbed Quinn 18 times in the neck and abdomen.
>it's a brain makes Liv attracted to Ravi episode
about damn time
This is gonna be the most traumatic episode yet!
Childhood is when you idolize Hayley, adulthood is when you realize Stan makes more sense.
>>93347454
whatever you say Seth.
>>93347454
Adulthood is realizing they're all dysfunctional human beings for the sake of our enjoyment and shouldn't be looked up to or looked back on for any form of a role model.
Except for Donald Duck.
>idolizing hayley
I idolize how much of a slut she is.
Is he dead yet?
god i hope so
>>93347150
He just got a sequel where he encounters his lost brother.
>>93347150
Still tweeting, from his cardboard box on the street I guess
What was the appeal of this show?
I've been binge-watching the first two seasons and I can't see why it got so popular
I really want to enjoy it, how should I watch it?
Which episode are you on, who would you say is your favourite character, what other shows do you enjoy and what compelled you to give this one a shot?
A lot of the show's strength is simply in the delivery of a lot of the lines. Shake and Carl's VAs knock it out of the park in terms of inflection and timing.
Surreal and absurd humor.
>>93347124
The appeal is the "lolsorandom" humor, however this show handled it very well.
ITT: Favorite Golden Age comic book covers
Now this is a thread I can get behind. They certainly dont make 'em like they used to.
>>93347761
They really had a sense of wonder missing from modern comics.
Don't mind me, I'm just the most hilarious, creative, original, refreshing and best animated film of 2017 and in recent memory.
>tfw no greenlit sequel for Captain Underpants yet but Boss Baby 2 is on the way
>>93346950
Do kids today even know who Captain Underpants is? I remember that shit peaking in popularity when I was in elementary school. Should have made the movie a few years ago
has anybody scanned the artbook?
>>93346989
I'm sure there's a lot.
Although I can see kids moving on Jeff Kinney's Wimpy Kid books since he makes his books yearly while Dav Pilkey hasn't made a Captain Underpants book since 2015
I've been wanting to read some Hawkman lately, what are some recommendations? I've been eyeing the new 52 comics but haven't heard good things. What about the Geoff Johns run?
Hawkworld is the go-to book. Death of Hawkman was the last thing he showed up in AFAIK, it was short and decent.
>>93346932
Read the Hawkworld mini and ongoing. Ignore everything else.
Jasmine is for _____.
head shaving
Being thrown in the trash, like all Disney princesses.
haram
What is the worst comic that's ever been recommended to you?
I have a good enough quality filter that I don't read bad shit accidentally. But I disliked Kingdom Come.
Killing Joke
>>93346828
I hope you're no longer friends with whoever recommended that to you. Mine is The Walking Dead.
post comics that are better than watchmen
Post faggots who are gayer than OP
>>93346595
obscure cartoons you really liked for whatever reason
>>93346495
>eye-burning colours
>annoying theme song
>lame characters
>probably made to fill quotas
It was shit.
>>93346495
Not completely obscure, but pretty close.
Season 1 in particular is GOAT, I would feel fully justified in recommending at least that one to all fans of comedic cartoons in general.

>Check Wikipedia
>Girlstuff/Boystuff is a Canadian/Hong Kong/American/British animated television series
>It took four countries to make this
>A television adaptation of Watchmen, the seminal 1986 DC Comics miniseries by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, is reportedly in early development at HBO. Damon Lindelof (Lost, The Leftovers) is in talks to steer the project.

>>93346407
>Damon Lindelof
yawn
>>93346422
Lindlof's biggest problem is writing a satisfying plot... but making compelling characters / themes. Since the plot of Watchmen is mapped out for him ahead of time, there's hope the show can be good.
Serious offer, lets make comics.
>>93346161
Uh. I'm sure there are plenty of people who would be into that in the Writers General. But you probably should show them something like a portfolio rather than a random fox man.
Also, collaborative comics rarely last so plan for a short one.
>>93346161
Fuck you learn 2 draw
