POWA Volume 3.
Hi guys, it is me again. For those who still remember, I am translating this french comic called Powa.
It is the story of some teenage,Nathan, who gets magic powers from a fairy from the woods, he can choose one power per day until he decides one, and only one, for the rest of his life.
However these powers come with a price, some weird animals have started to attack him and the magic is more complicated than he thought.
This comic was translated with google translate, I don't speak english that well, so take this translation with that in mind. Some anons helped me with corrections for the other volumes in their storytime threads but i couldn't make them. Sorry.

It was not funny. Random bullshit is not funny to me, no matter how well the animation is. One of the reason I think Adult Swim is shit. Shows based around being loud and random have no real fucking interest for me. Extreme randomness with no fucking clue as to how or why. One or two chuckles in an episode that is supposed to be funny does not really keep a program going. I will repeat that, the animation and style was really awesome.

the channel i watched spongebob on (Super RTL) only played spongebob seasons 1 to 4
they went through the episodes chronologically, but once the episodes New Leaf/Once Bitten played, boom
the show began all over again
because of this, I never knew there were more episodes, and assumed the show had ended, I found out there were new episodes in late 2009

Didn't they air Spongebob after Season 4 on VIVA between Drawn Together and American Dad?
Also, this whole thing was pretty funny. They tried to kill Spongebob off on Super RTL with not giving them the stuff past season 4 to air it on thier own channel and using NEW EPISODES to drag in viewers, but they pretty much just shot themselves in the knee because Super RTL only aired the good episodes while Nickelodeon only aired the bad episodes. Even after they pulled the plug and only aired it on thier own channel they still ended up being incredibly weak on the TV market with Spongebob being forever tied mentally to Super RTL as a thing of the past.

William W. Boeschenstein (who died earlier this year) ran Owens-Corning, manufacturer of PINK-brand insulation, which licensed the Pink Panther (from.. I actually don't know but I'm assuming MGM) as "mascot". It's really there as a brand deal; far from being a mafioso, he was a quiet, publicity-shy businessman who grew the company his father had founded by about 500% during his own tenure to annual sales of about $3 billion. He ran a pretty clean business (obviously there would have been contact with organized crime in the construction industry in that period, but that doesn't mean he was a gangster). Owens-Corning manufacture modern fiberglass shingles and led the transition from traditional wood-based shingles under Boeschenstein, among other products.
Far from being a fan, Boeschenstein claimed in 2013 not to have had any idea who the character was when they licensed him.
