POWA Volume 3.
Hi guys, it is me again. For those who still remember, I am translating this french comic called Powa.
It is the story of some teenage,Nathan, who gets magic powers from a fairy from the woods, he can choose one power per day until he decides one, and only one, for the rest of his life.
However these powers come with a price, some weird animals have started to attack him and the magic is more complicated than he thought.
This comic was translated with google translate, I don't speak english that well, so take this translation with that in mind. Some anons helped me with corrections for the other volumes in their storytime threads but i couldn't make them. Sorry.

>Beautiful backgrounds and animation
>Cute and sexy girls
>Great facial expressions
>Memorable scenes
>That fat mexican guy was funny
>Ren Seeks Help was dark and deep
>Dr. Mr. Horse
>Man's Best Friend finally aired
>Uncut version of Big House Blues
>Ralph Bakshi
>Life Sucks could've been a classic
So why all the hate? It's NOT the worst thing ever.
Because it wasn't funny. Ironically, without censorship for child television, it was vulgar for the sake of it without having any real punchline

Agree.
It's like Mr.Pickles: it's extreme, but without a real purpose.

It was not funny. Random bullshit is not funny to me, no matter how well the animation is. One of the reason I think Adult Swim is shit. Shows based around being loud and random have no real fucking interest for me. Extreme randomness with no fucking clue as to how or why. One or two chuckles in an episode that is supposed to be funny does not really keep a program going. I will repeat that, the animation and style was really awesome.
who is in the right?
Roulette is all about the $$$
Sonar is all about the entertainment
the channel i watched spongebob on (Super RTL) only played spongebob seasons 1 to 4
they went through the episodes chronologically, but once the episodes New Leaf/Once Bitten played, boom
the show began all over again
because of this, I never knew there were more episodes, and assumed the show had ended, I found out there were new episodes in late 2009

Good for you

and...?
>>93296635
Didn't they air Spongebob after Season 4 on VIVA between Drawn Together and American Dad?
Also, this whole thing was pretty funny. They tried to kill Spongebob off on Super RTL with not giving them the stuff past season 4 to air it on thier own channel and using NEW EPISODES to drag in viewers, but they pretty much just shot themselves in the knee because Super RTL only aired the good episodes while Nickelodeon only aired the bad episodes. Even after they pulled the plug and only aired it on thier own channel they still ended up being incredibly weak on the TV market with Spongebob being forever tied mentally to Super RTL as a thing of the past.
Can anyone explain how this fucker is the mascot of every single construction company in America.
>>93296362
A mafia mob boss liked his shorts so he put him as the mascot for a lot of the illegal construction rackets at the time, and it just stuck

Is this real?

William W. Boeschenstein (who died earlier this year) ran Owens-Corning, manufacturer of PINK-brand insulation, which licensed the Pink Panther (from.. I actually don't know but I'm assuming MGM) as "mascot". It's really there as a brand deal; far from being a mafioso, he was a quiet, publicity-shy businessman who grew the company his father had founded by about 500% during his own tenure to annual sales of about $3 billion. He ran a pretty clean business (obviously there would have been contact with organized crime in the construction industry in that period, but that doesn't mean he was a gangster). Owens-Corning manufacture modern fiberglass shingles and led the transition from traditional wood-based shingles under Boeschenstein, among other products.
Far from being a fan, Boeschenstein claimed in 2013 not to have had any idea who the character was when they licensed him.
There's a pretty fair obituary of him here:

Why, I do believe it's time for early Silver Age comics!
But enough about me, what've you got planned for the week ahead?
I've got a fair few Curt Swan comics to give you all, so I figured now is as good a time as any to post some. Sadly, all I have for you today are covers by Swan - he hadn't become THE Superman artist yet, but that would change in the coming months...
Also, for anyone who voted in my little poll, you should know that Stardew Valley won by a nose, and I'm installing it now.
They've done Brothers Grimm, HC Andersen, Burroughs, even Victor Hugo. How about King, considering how popular he is and how much he's written?

Not sure if they could get the rights for The Green Mile
I think this one could be a nice addition to the WDAS canon.

smaller bodycount for starters
Ok, that was a kinda good episode.
For a tribute to Adam West Powerless put out an episode of theirs on YouTube so anyone can watch it. Adam West plays a Wayne.

Or Steven Universe Prime,
or Steven Universe Fall of Homeworld
or Steven Universe Gems in Disguise
are things different in the Japanese version?
Whats your best guess /co/?
My best guess is Cable went back in time to publish the Eden coordinates on the comic books so the new mutants will find their way to the border, and that Cable's time warp is there waiting for them to transport them into a place where mutant existed, in the past.
Why didn't Hank Hill discipline Peggy? She was way out of line. Like every season she did something that could land her in jail.

What was he suppose to do, spank her feet?
I never understood why there's always an OP with this kind of picture.
>>93295369
He could have just removed her driving privileges, or her money privileges. He makes most of the money anyways.
>PART 10 - THE BEST MEDICINE
While G.I. Joe are just coming to grips with the reality of Cobra, their agent Chuckles is getting involved with a mysterious criminal organisation. Could the two be connected?
(And don't let past experience with Costa sour you on this - it's really quite good.
