What decent cartoons have come out of Britain in the last decade that aren't pre-school shit? I wanted to say Danger Mouse, but that's made in Ireland.

>Ireland
Huh. Wasn't aware of that. Good show, though. Deserves more credit.
Good things come from Ireland
What are most Cartoon Network shows episodic?
You just wanted an excuse to use that image.
>>93365436
assuming you're asking why, it's because western cartoons in general tend to be episodic

Gives me an excuse to post this image
>Empowered vol 10 is out today
Yay!
>but only in stores, digital version is out july 4th
Goddammit.
Is this an anti-piracy feature so people won't buy the comic online and then post the scans?
>>93365225
It's only out right now for comic shops that ordered it through Diamond. Places like Amazon and Barnes and Noble won't get it physically or digitally until July 4th. And it's most likely to keep people from just reading it online and then not paying for the print version. I'm pissed myself but I ordered it from Midtown Comics to get it early.

I haven't cared ever since they turned her from cute girl with self confidence issues to a straight up overweight person.
She's just not attractive anymore.

I want to say I'm surprised your problem is that instead of the writing, but I'm not.
>Bleeding Cool is receiving reliably sourced information about a new Fantastic Four movie being developed at Fox Studios. And while the most recent movie reinvented the Fantastic Four as youngsters, along the lines of the Ultimate Fantastic Four comic book, the movie swings to the other end of the spectrum. Instead, it will concentrate on Franklin and Valeria, the children of Reed Richards and Susan Storm. While still having the Thing and the Human Torch along for the ride.
>Indeed, the whole movie will be kid-centric with a vibe far more reminiscent of The Incredibles. In an instant, this will totally separate the movie from the previous failed attempt. But also mean there’s no actual need for a reboot. And, yes, we know this is full of generics. So how about something specific? Go on then.
>The current draft of the proposed new Fantastic Four movie is written by Seth Grahame-Smith.
>He is best known as the author (okay, co-author) of the novel Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, as well as Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter, both of which have been adapted as movies. Grahame-Smith is also the co-creator, head writer and executive producer of The Hard Times of RJ Berger, a TV comedy series on MTV.
>But he also did some script polishing on the Josh Trank movie.
>He has some Marvel comic book chops too — he wrote The Spider-Man Handbook: The Ultimate Training Manual, an examination of Marvel Comics’ Spider-Man, with an introduction by Stan Lee. And the Hulk issue of Marvel Zombies Return with artist Richard Elson.

>As part of the deal done during Marvel’s bankruptcy in the nineties, Fox Studios have the license to make Fantastic Four movies as long as they keep doing so. This is something that has caused the current Marvel executives considerable displeasure, to the extent that they cancelled the Fantastic Four comic books, and licensing for T-shirts, posters, calendars, toys, games, cards and statues as a result.
>I get the feeling that this isn’t going to make them any happier.
It sounds perfectly fun and fine.
>>93365106
The concept's not bad but it's Fox that I'm more worried about based on their track record.
How is this news? Of course Fox wants to try again with Fantastic Four or they'll have to give it to Disney after 2022. They dont care if these movies keep flopping as long as they can spite the Mouse.
What do you think of Hank Pym?
>>93365070
I hope he's not pure "Destroy All Humans" evil.
>>93365070
has the potential to be a really interesting character with him being both a genius and person that is constantly trying to prove himself to the world while also trying his hardest to make the world a better place only to fail in both regards.
really a shame that avengers assemble got cancelled without fully telling his and wasps story to the end. it was by far the most interesting thing about the show

What do you mean? Doesn't the solicit literally say he's going to use the Falcon suit for a while again and then later solicits have him back as Cap?

That's not the Falcon suit, that's the MCU suit.
Fucking brand synergy.

Flash in the comics is the most conservative right-wing christian of all super heroes. He is disgustingly traditional, in contrast with Green Arrow that is the most moronic libtard.
Welcome to the Wayne is a 6-episode web series released in 2014 on Nick's website and will be released as a full-length, 22-min per episode show premiering on July 24th.
Luckily for us, the premiere leaked. I can't seem to find the MEGA link for the first episode, but I have one for the pilot / web-series:
https://www.mediafire.com/folder/tsb6i74y6fqzx/WTW
This show looks kind of promising.
Thoughts?
>>93364667
Hey OP, nice to see more people interested in the show.
Personally I found Welcome to the Wayne as a breathe of fresh air, the style is clearly different from most shows. Also, the 22-minute format makes easier for the show and the staff to introduce lore and plot arcs.
Something negative about the new version of the show is that the staff dropped the "secret spy tech" a bit and introduced some "monster of the week" stuff. IMO, spy stuff would have been better.
Still, some jokes are actually good, and the characters are likeable: Olly's not as annoying as other hyperactive characters from other shows, Ansi isn't as bad as Jeff from Clarence, and Saraline isn't a self-entitled cunt like most girls her age are portrayed in cartoons.
New video posted from Nick, it is the extended theme song.

So what kind of chemical bath gives you pale skin, red lips and green hair?
>>93364425
Probably some combination of concentrated alcohol and chlorine, as well as some stabilizing chemicals to keep the alcohol from burning your flesh right off.
>>93364425
I always assumed the red lips were lipstick.
>>93364425
MtF hormone replacement therapy.

GOTH GIRLS YEAH-UH

That lack of morals meaning she wouldn't be above teasingor even some /ss/ withDipper.
>>93364189
It was something during the first season, but ended up quite quickly. She was characterized as an insecure emo.
It started again when the second season was ending, and there was a change of personality for punk chick that likes to tease Dipper to take advantage of him, and it generated a lot of new fanart.

I'm more shocked that she was entirely pointless.
Because she was obnoxious.

>>93363759
>This thing is going to bomb harder can Secret Empire.
It's just a one-shot. Not like it selling poorly would really effect much of anything.
>>93363932
Considering how much they're pushing it right there in that solicit:
>EVERYTHING STARTS HERE!
>Jason Aaron and Esad Ribic usher in a new dawn
>one whose rays will touch every corner of the Marvel Universe in the days to come
>It’s everything you’ve been longing for — and more!
It selling poorly would not fare well for the rest of Marvel's line spinning out of this. This is setting the stage both for their Generations event and a number of relaunches.
Imagine if DC Universe Rebirth had sold like shit, all the Rebirth one-shots and new #1's would not have sold nearly as well despite DCU Rebirth being "just a one-shot".
If Ewing was writting Iron Man, and had Tony take Toni as his protege, would it have been better than Riri?
Cute Asian Waifu with purple hair, daughter of the man who saved Stark's life. In her 20s.
vs
Random girl who "happens" to look exactly like Bendis' daughter. 14 and already better than everybody. The answer is yes. Toni would've been much better.
>>93363728
>wasting Ewing on Iron Man
N-no thanks. We got that one mini out of him and that was enough.
I don't like Riri, but I hate the fetishization of female asians in comic books, so no.
