This is the most morally reprehensible shit ever, how tf can the narrative try to paint it is as sympathetic?
She literally jeopardized the team, basically fucking raped Garnet, and lied about it all while Peridot is still on the loose. She's fucking Judas
Dumbest move the show ever pulled.
I don't watch the show but isn't being a smug "perfect" cunt her character shtick?
Did they ever step back Pearl being the worst? Because between this and trying to kill Steven like five times she was getting pretty ireedeemable by the time I stopped watching.
Characters who don't make mistakes are boring. Characters who don't have motives that can conflict with other characters are boring. Why are you complaining about one of the best arcs in the show as if having things happen is a bad thing?
okay /co/, tell me about your first cartoon crush.
I always had a thing for Asian women.

She was my polar opposite, I guess you could say. I was always the crazy funny-dude with a million faces. I was zany. "That guy" some might've even said.
Then I saw HER...and for whatever reason, it was like lightning struck me. Something about her dry humor, her shrewd wit, her centered spirit, all intrigued me. Years later, I've mellowed out -- though can still be "that guy" when the occassion's right -- yet I still find it out that for several years, I literally loved Raven. It was odd. I knew it was. I look back on it now a little and cringe at it quite often now that I'm more mature and less cringy, but to this day I don't know why I liked her so much or still do. I honestly think a large factor is my respect for her. She carries such a weight yet pushes on. I like that. She's mature, brave, and centered. I'd like to think we'd get along now, but realistically, she'd never even look at me. I'm just another guy, living his life... and that's fine, too. I'm a young man, now. I have things to do, responsibilities of my own...But I still feel fond of her to this very day.
I will not hesitate to say that she was my first love, to be honest.

Ever watched LUSE
Well, I had a crush on that small red guy
What will animation be like in the 2020s?
Lot more shows online via netflix, hulu and amprime
I bet the first VR shows will come out
As the next generation of children become young adults with access to social media, shows from their childhood (such as The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack and Chowder) will be rebooted.
Spongebob will continue its death march without any end in sight.
Independent animation studios will continue to be a novelty, the last vestige of animators who want to avoid working for the Mouse.
Web animation will experience a brief surge in activity, but ultimately by the end of the 2020s web animators will give up trying to make a living off YouTube and animations on the internet will consist of portfolio pieces for animators trying to apply at existing studios.
Hey Hey Hey!
I am a fat man, that is the joke!
Fat people are funny though. Even the words alone are humorous enough to make me smirk and laugh.
hey hey hey
these niggers are in their place today
>>93384330
He is a person of color & fat but people are still not happy with that old show.
Don't mind me everybody. I'm just literally the only good villain in the DCEU. Don't pay me no mind.
I'LL FIND HIM!!!!!!!!
Still one more than the MCU. :^)
>>93384287
Every DCEU villain is trash
/co/, how do you think it's going to burst?
what's going to happen to the industry after?
>>93384166
THIS GAME SUCKS MY SPIDER BALLS
IT'S HORRIBLE
The Big Two will go back to being good again for a short time before they're shut down indefinitely for hemorrhaging money.
Hollywood will move onto the next big thing and the SJWs/tumblr will follow them.
>>93384189
2004-2008 AVGN still holds up today.
Why did Slade rip off the clothes of a 16 year old girl?
Because he knows what's good
This was incredible to watch
Still is

After Terra, he's developed a taste
>Movie just cuts to black
>Ending left entirely ambiguous
>Fanboys come out; "IT MAKES YOU THINK!!!"
>It's too d-deep for you!
>No the writers weren't lazy, don't be spoonfed!
What are the best arguments against this pretentious horseshit /co/? Are they right?
Jews keeping things open for a potential sequel
Doesn't it depend on the movie? I liked it in Inception.
Go back to /tv/.
>Make Iris West black
>Cast a jewess mulatto instead of a Nubian goddess
For what purpose?
>>93384025
Who would you have cast instead?
https://youtu.be/ah5RLqNVrzE
>>93384099
Lupita Nyongo or a chick who is actually black. They might as well kept Iris white if they were going to cheap out with this jewess.
It's basically old /co/ vs nu /co/ for Rocko's Modern Life: Static Cling.
>Reprising their roles in the voice cast are Carlos Alazraqui as Rocko (as well as Spunky and Leon), Tom Kenny as Heffer (as well as Chuck and Really Really Big Man), Mr. Lawrence as Filburt Turtle, Charlie Adler as Ed and Bev Bighead (plus Mr. Dupette, Grandpa Wolfe, and Mrs. Fathead), Linda Wallem as Aunt Gretchen and Dr. Hutchinson, Jill Talley as Nosey, and Joe Murray as Ralph. Steve Little (Adventure Time) and Cosmo Segurson have also joined the cast.
>According to Nickelodeon, the TV special “brings the characters back to Earth after being lost in outer space since 1996. Rocko has trouble accepting this 21st century modern life, while Heffer and Filburt embrace every aspect of new technology, social media and the endless diversity of food trucks. Rocko whole-heartedly believes that his nostalgia for the past can save him from the tortures of the modern world.”
Can /co/ survive until 2018?
>it's a blunt and un-subtle metaphor for "cartoons these days are not as good as 90s cartoons"
>Hey Arnold and Samurai Jack
Sure, those were a lot of people's one-armed man.
>Invader Zim
I can't believe Vasquez is actually going along with it, but OK. It was a huge cult hit that only got 27 episodes
>Rocko's Modern Life
OK, you need to stop. Deliver me from all this nostalgia crap. Hell, we're even nostalgia'ing the Cold War. Something something quote about dying empires that only look back.
>>93384015
>while Heffer and Filburt embrace every aspect of new technology, social media and the endless diversity of food trucks.
No, no, god dammit NO.
Part of what made Rocko's Modern Life so special was that it rarely (if ever) brought the technology of the time into focus. Despite the title of the show, many of the episodes were about situations that were agnostic to the technology surrounding them. Even I Have No Son and Wacky Delly, which illustrate animators using techniques which have been out of use for several years, is not about the tech so much as the universal story of "estranged father and son reconcile" and "Springtime for Hitler in cartoon format", respectively.
Casting a spotlight on "OH LOOK THERE'S SOCIAL MEDIA NOW" or "OH LOOK AT MY SMARTPHONE" cheapens the show as a whole, makes it unnecessarily self-referential and almost seems like it's trying to get you to hate the original run because "LOL they use old technology, what a bunch of cavemen".
So I rewatched the World's Finest special and skimmed through Emperor Joker.
How do you think Joker works as a Superman villain?
Goku Jesus meets stupid idiot, somehow doesn't kill him with a hard squint and actually has to work to stop him. Joker and Superman go together like minty toothpaste and orange juice.
It doesn't work desu.
>>93384009
Not very well on his own, without an actual Superman villain to work with or a massive amount of power to steal and give Superman a challenge with.
World's Finest and Emperor Joker are outliers. Joker is otherwise firmly a Batman villain for a reason.

What's /co/'s honest and humble thoughts on NuPPG?
Such Hellishly Invigorating Toon
It's trash
>>93383849
I never watched it, but the artstyle is off. Why the unchanging lineweight? The old style was distinct with really thick outlines.
Wtf I just watched Bojack Horseman and then i googled it and Character Actress Margo Martindale is a real person?
>>93383665
Yes and she actually did all those things in real life
I remember several people having the same reaction when she turned up on a voice cast list for some upcoming show. I can't remember which one.
>>93383709
Ducktales
Pretty ballsy of them to just drop some Bojack spoilers in their cast announcement.
I bear gifts, /co/.
Pigfags can't stop winning
in fact, Dr Pig's episode is in the lineup
Seriously? If its a tribute to Pig's VA that's pretty cool if them.
reminder this got more season than harvey beaks
>>93383518
I thought that maybe at first but there's only a few pig centric episodes
