This is not a /pol/ thread, so bear with me. It's just that I've noticed that no villain in comics, apart from Nazi ones, is racist. I mean, they're villains, what's one more bad trait? It's especially weird when you have them running around killing kids, torturing people, etc, etc. why is racism considered worse than them?
I guess Magneto could be considered a species that based on the version, and Apocalypse is a whole another case, but I can't think of anybody else, bar the obvious ones.

>nazi
>racist
choose one
Because typically, even villains are meant to be likable/marketable to kids on some level, through action figures and video games and whatnot
In any case, here's one

Keeping with my point, notice they didn't give any hint that he was racist in the cartoon show
>At the start of DC’s Rebirth era, Dick Grayson was finding his feet as Nightwing once more following his run as a secret agent for Spyral. Now, over a year in, the character is fully settled in his adopted home of Blüdhaven with new friends, new enemies and beginning in December, a new creative team.
>Green Lanterns’ Sam Humphries and Batman Beyond’s Bernard Chang are teaming up for a new arc to prove just why Nightwing is “Untouchable.”
>NIGHTWING #35
>Written by SAM HUMPHRIES
>Art by BERNARD CHANG
>“THE UNTOUCHABLE: HUNTERS!” Nightwing finally feels like he’s got his life in Blüdhaven under control. But the one thing he wasn’t expecting was for a case from his past in Gotham City to rear its head here—a murderer he never set eyes on, but whose unmistakable signature has arrived in his new city! How many people will die before he’s stopped this time? Or worse than that…what if Dick can’t stop him? Incoming creative team Sam Humphries and Bernard Chang kick off a story that will take Nightwing back to his days as Robin and force him to question his future as well!

“Venom, Inc.,” a six-issue crossover that unfolds in The Amazing Spider-Man and Venom, beginning in December.
The story kicks off with Mania, a symbiote wearer introduced in Venom Vol. 2 #31 by Cullen Bunn and Declan Shalvey, getting ambushed by Lee Price. If you’ll remember, Price was the initial host of the Venom symbiote when this current volume launched earlier this year, before Eddie Brock returned to reclaim what was once his. In the Alpha issue, Price steals the Mania symbiote and rechristens himself Maniac. Flash Thompson, another previous Venom host, will also appear in the crossover.
Venom, Inc. begins with an Alpha issue, continues through The Amazing Spider-Man #792-793 and Venom #159-160, and then concludes in Venom, Inc. Omega #1.

Why are there blacks in a comic book about 'the origin of Santa Claus"? It's set in a Scandinavia-esque and is filled with Germanic customs for fuck's sake, why the fuck are blacks in that town? I thought Morrison was better than that.

>London-based children’s entertainment company Cake is entering into partnership with South Africa’s Triggerfish Animation Studios to co-produce the comedy-action series Mama K’s Super 4.
>Targeted at 6-11 year olds, Mama K’s Super 4 is set in Lusaka, Zambia, where four teenage girls are recruited by former secret agent Mama K to help save the world. According to the series description: “Fighting rich and powerful opponents with limited resources means Mama K’s Super 4 will have to be smart and resourceful in a show in which taking down the bad guys and turning in your homework is all in a day’s work.”
>The series is created by Zambian writer Malenga Mulendema, who was one of eight winners in the Story Lab initiative, a 2015 African development program sponsored by Triggerfish, in partnership with the Walt Disney Company and South Africa’s Department of Trade and Industry.
>“Mama K’s Super 4 stood out among hundreds of tv shows that we reviewed during a continent-wide call for animated projects,” said Triggerfish’s Anthony Silverston in a press release. “In her pitch, Malenga said that, growing up, she’d never seen herself reflected on screen in an animated show, and with Cake, we’re glad to have found a bold partner who has embraced her vision for a show centered on four innovative African girls.”
>Cape Town’s Triggerfish is one of South Africa’s leading animation studios, whose credits include two cg features – Adventures in Zambezia and Khumba – as well as tv specials like Stick Man and Revolting Rhymes. They’ll collaborate with Cake to develop finance, and produce 26 twenty-two minute episodes of the 2D-animated Super 4, while Cake will handle international rollout and distribution.
>Below are some of character concepts for the series by Cameroonian artist Malcolm Wope. The producers say the show draws visual inspiration from retro-’90s R&B and hip hop girl groups.

Diane: You know, sometimes I feel like our marriage is a Magic Eye poster.
Mr. Peanutbutter: I love those things.
Diane: I know. And it's messy. And at first glance, it doesn't seem to make any sense. And it's hard to figure out! But sometimes if you squint at it just right, everything lines up and it's the most perfect, beautiful, amazing thing.
Mr. Peanutbutter: Yeah. I know what you mean.
Diane: But... (bursts into tears) I'm so tired of squinting.

If it just ends up being an allegory for Will Ferrell's kid letting his sister play with his Lego's, than maybe it could work.
