Any good way to store comics without the plastic wrapping or backing? I used to get my comics from Hastings and most of their sold comics were unwrapped, so I'm not sure what to do when storing them. Pic not related, I got a box from said Hastings' closing sale but I'm not sure how to go about storing these comics.
Digital :^)
Your comics are going to be deteriorating one way or the other the only quest is how much do you want to invest in slowing down the process.
>>93486303
It's less an issue of deterioration and more of storage space.

>PART 43 - TWO PATHS DIVERGED ON A METAL WORLD
And we're back, with the start of what many consider the "golden age" of IDW's Transformers comics: the era of Robots in Disguise and More than Meets the Eye! Where we left off, Cybertron had been saved from destruction at Galvatron's hands by Optimus Prime... at the expense of the Matrix, now a burnt-out, empty shell.
So, the question is... what happens now?

Suppose he makes a Heel–Face Turn and becomes a hero. Would he then be identical to batman or would there be greater differences?

I mean, Arkham Knight had Batman adopt his tactics at the end of it, so it'd be similar but more drug-filled.

I'd be okay with this.

So as you all know, or will know, Spy vs Spy was and still is a comicstrip in the MAD magazine. It's based off of the Cold War. And the story (obviously) is usually 2 spies trying to kill each other.
Anyways I wanted to ask, given that this comicstrip was based off the Cold War, who exactly were White Spy and Black Spy supposed to represent? I would assume CIA and KGB but I'm not sure. What do you think /co/?
>>93483992
they were Spies, one black and one white
and that's it
the comic was all about the ABSURDITY of the Cold War, with spies killing each other for no real reason, ideology or stakes
if you don't understood that, you don't deserve the genius that is Spy vs Spy
>>93483992
They don't have to represent anyone specifically beyond the greater message of the futility of conflict for conflict's sake. This can apply to any nation, group or even simple person. Looking for a face is sort of missing the point because they represent everyone and anyone
They were just colored different to distinguish them from one another, but they are otherwise identical in design
Both characters have their wins in the comics and cartoons, so it's not really a political message nor is it putting one side on a pedestal by having them as the "good guy"
It's mostly just the same type of violent humor that made Tom and Jerry or Daffy Duck so great, I never felt there was politics to it. Just the kind of laughs from some guy getting tricked and exploding into a pile of ashes
