Comic historian here (well a historian who wrote his PHD on comics so I guess I am one), never fucking heard of this happening. Though even if he did, the idea for Superboy being Lex Luthor's 'son' wasn't put into comics until years after Moore stopped working at DC, and before then had been laughed at when Geoff Johns asked if that theory was true in a letters page. He later got a job at DC and made it canon.

It's kind of incredible how they took these characters I liked then gave them their own books in which I can't stand them. I feel SG was lucky in that also decided to use her for AIM/USA because there was still some positive showing of her. But Hellcat and Ms America I've kind of started to retroactively hate them, in a " I NEVER LIKED THEM " kind of way, but that really isn't true. I used to enjoy both of them a few years back.

I haven't read any of the Shortbox stuff but I dig the idea. It needs to evolve beyond a boutique subscription though if it's to ever have an impact on comics in some form

True, but it didn't happen overnight. I'd like to see her take on a much bigger, more visible editorial/curatorial role of some sort at a publisher because chances are you haven't heard of her if you aren't already involved in certain circles or read small press

I saw her tweeting that people coming up to her stall at a con presumed her guy friend helping her out was the Shortbox creator (and not her), that's pretty disheartening

Tony. The government was going to force cap and the other heroes into it one way or the other. The only way to get through it was to concede and then try to work the system from the inside. Cap realized that too but got pissy over Wanda being held in the Avengers base.

Both were right, but both Steve and Tony fought for the wrong reasons. Tony was wrong because he was overcome by guilt instead of good judgment, and Steve was wrong because he was more concerned about Bucky, the last remaining thing from his old life

Wonder who they are going to blame once Thanos strolls into town.
