yeah it's kind of a power fantasy show when rick is the focus, but in case you haven't noticed, that kind of thing sells

I miss last year when we had frequent talkbacks. It wasn't until we had an episode each month and then no episodes for months multiple times that all discussion was gone. Releasing half a season every few months is a great way to kill the show thanks a lot CN

I think the hiatus might be a blessing in disguise. Hopefully this means by the time it comes back they'll be able to air the remaining episodes regularly till the finale.

if you're asking how it was allowed back then, times were different and what was considered to be inappropriate was different
if you're asking why it's still allowed, as in why they don't cut it in modern releases, it is to preserve history
