Is there any reason to be excited for this other than "I am a massive fucking nostalgiafag for Castlevania?"
I'm really hoping it ends up being good, but don't want to set my expectations too high
Voice cast is good, it's written by Warren Ellis and the short fan films also by this producer are usually quite good.

so it'll be an unfinished edgefest?
Besides all the extreme sports, what went wrong with Rocket Power that nobody fondly remembers it like the other Nicktoons at the time?
Except for Tito, of course.
I distinctly remember Rocket Power being not shit
is there any place I can download it
The show wasn't terrible, but the fact that it was so blatantly and unironically a corporate suit's attempt at pandering to an outdated "radical cool sporty kids" stereotype and the fact that, while not terrible, it was extremely mediocre made even stupid kids balk at the very sight of it.
i stayed up for 3 days around my birthday watching a RP marathon while eating a shit ton of cupcakes my mom made me.
not sure how i didn't get in trouble for eating like 90% of the cupcakes.
What made them so angry at eachother

As long as there's one person left as your competition, you're going to want to get rid of them.
That said, I always hated the gray spy.

I know its bait but it still makes me angry
>DC does Kamandi Challenge and a Mister Miracle book
>IDW does this
Why does Marvel hate Jack Kirby so much?
>X-Men
>Juggernaut of a brand that everyone knows and loves, easily Marvels most successful IP in all forms since the 90s and is now only barely second only to the MCU but still beats Marvels other non-Spider-Man properties outside of the movies nearly in a landslide
>Own the comic rights
>Own the action figure rights
>Own all merchandising rights
>Own video game rights
>Own tv rights
>Own cartoon rights
>Own literally every aspect to the god damn IP besides movies
>Despite having the capability of capitalizing on the popularity of the movies to make cartoons, merch, video games, and focus on the comics extensively, as you make 100% of that profit entirely, you intentionally sabotage the IP in a vain, ineffective attempt to regain the movie rights, sacrificing millions in potential profits to satiate a completely useless, petty grudge, to the point of outright blacklisting the characters from usage in licensed crossover material.
Why is Marvel so FUCKING stupid.

I sure do wonder why.

He's greedy to the point of financial suicide, all this equates to is them not making money and Fox making money.
Just re-watched this earlier.
If this film was released today, how much of a shitstorm would it cause on the Internet? The film is really good
TRANSFORMATION CENTRAL

HEY EVERYBODY, FREEEEEEEE TRAILER

It seems like a very nice trailer, Mr. Red Guy
Did you say...FREE?!?
Cause it seems like Popeye was anti rape. I recall Olive Oil didn't want to have a baby until she got married, and she never wanted to get married cause Popeye refused to go out and get a real job, but Brutis was always pretty rapey, and Popeye always saved her, cause he loved her, and probably would have even if they weren't dating, because she was his friend.
(But then again, maybe she should stop flirting with Brutis)
>>93564067
Maybe Popeye shouldn't be mad at Olive Oil for flirting with Brutis, maybe he should go out and find a job so Olive Oil doesn't have to support herself and can stay home and take care of their kids.
>>93564104
>Et Tu, Brutis?
>>93564067
I can't think of a huge number of cartoons that are Pro-Rape, OP.
Honest question since I've never read this: Is this any good? I see it referenced on here from time to time, but I've never actually read it. Compare it to the best series or run you've read, how does it fair to that (or on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best)?
>>93563916
Yes. It's pretty good up until the late 70s early 8-s issues. Then it meanders. Haven't read it in a while but it's ending pretty soon.
>>93563916
I enjoy it a lot because the fights are properly brutal. I always hated how every time superman fights Darkseid they only ever get a bloody nose and some scratches, they never really hurt each other. In this comic when superpowered beings fight they tear each other the fuck apart, and that makes it much more believable.
The viltrumites are also much more enjoyable superpowered beings because it goes into the fact that if anyone actually were strong enough to rip people apart they would probably do it with enjoyment.
>>93563916
A solid 9. If it didn't have that fucking time-skip it'd be a ten.
I'm relatively a new reader for Supes. Whenever I look up the best Superman stories, I almost always find two kinds of stories:
Origin stories, like
>Man of Steel
>Secret Origins
>Earth One
>Birthright
And deconstructions of the Superman concept and his ideals, usually in the form of Elseworlds stories, not unlike
>All-Star Superman
>Red Son
>Secret Identity
>Whatever happened to the man of tomorrow?
>Kingdom Come, I think (haven't read it yet)
But what are the best "average" Superman stories that stand in the middle? What are the best stories that don't fit in neither category and are perfect for a new reader that doesn't feel like reading "Clark the Farmboy Goes to the City" or "Oh Shit, Supes is Now a Bad Guy I Guess" or "Superman has Supercancer".
Also I don't know if I should put Death of Superman in the deconstructions category, but it definitely isn't an average Supes story.
>>93563814
I like all the current stuff. Most of his best stories are "unusual" I guess. Final crisis, the full death and return arc, and all of the last son/brainiac/new krypton run is what I consider his best
>>93563814
Maybe a bit deconstructiony, but it gets to the heart of clark as a character >>93558500
They're all the runs on Action Comics and Superman. A lot of it is big high stakes stuff because it's Superman and that's the level he works on. I guess start at Man of Steel and post-Crisis and work forward? Find out who did the runs.
And team stuff like Morrison JLA
