ITT: Movies that aren't officially adaptations, but are still highly influenced by comics/cartoonshow did Moebius and Jodorowsky lose the lawsuit?
>>93685446
American Splendor is a film that for the most part is not based on the comic but the style of it.
>>93685446
Because Moebius actually was hired as a concept artist for the film.
Kind of ruins the claim that they stole your work if you have actually been hired to paint stuff for the film.
>>93685446
Robocop
Darkman
The Incredibles, although that one's influenced by James Bond films almost as much as it is by Silver Age comics.
>spiderman was fucking brown midget pussy
ah, so this is diversity
>>93684864
She's Italian
>>93684864
>more midgets
Yes please.
Caption says that's actually Doc Ock?
Dude was sniffing at old Aunt May, seems plausible to me
Does It hit too close? What did you guys think about the comics and the pilot?
>>93683204
i would vote for him for president
that pilot and the anime club saga from gunshow are the only honest portrayals of fan culture in media I've ever seen
>>93683204
>Does It hit too close
Yeah, a lot of closet robots got pretty fanny flustered at the last two issues.
If you were to make a cartoon, how would you add a transgender character without making it forced or weird? The only time I've seen a tranny character and liked them is Alice, and her whole point to be made fun off.
You can't make a good trans character since th eye are no good trans people in real life.
I'm not trying to be a /pol/yard or anything but I don't think anyone right in his mind would to something like that to himself.
You guys have never met a trans person in real life, and it shows
you can really be "trans" though can you?
Could it have been good?

>Kill Six Billion Demons: The Animated Series
I mean I guess. Looks pretty cool and...grotesque as it is.
>>93676162

Where did it all go so wrong Canadabros?
It didn't go COMPLETELY wrong, anon.
... Some time slightly before season 4.
>>93674200
I'd argue three factors:
- Anime stopped being broadcast on the channel
- Live action shows (both YTV's own and Nickelodeon's) eventually pushed out most of the animated schedule
- Eventually became Nick Canada in all but name.
Where does he get his eternal youth? From the school of Ash Ketchum?
Luke and Leia did some naughty things on an Island thise week and now I wonder if there is any /co/ stuff were characters have actually made out or fucked their sibling.

Is his code of honor just a meme? Does he genuinely want to help? Is he just a guy with an inferiority superiority complex taken too far? What is the real nature of... DOOM?!
>>93695741
Neither.
He is an anti-villain. He's a good guy that does bad things.
>>93695758
But then, Doom is above such petty labels.
>>93695741
He acquired power, went back to his home country, liberated his people, elevated his people, secured his people from external exploitation all without needing to given he could easily sustain his own private robotic empire off the grid.
Victor is simply not a man of simple black or white, he is moral grey. Attempts have been made to make those previous efforts dim under a different light of perspective but the fact remains again that he never need do any of them if he were simply a villain. He could have allowed the people of Latveria to simply rot while plotting global conquest, the wealth of their land is a personal one its resources are not necessarily valuable to him, and he could easily search elsewhere uninhabited. Their reverence for him to sate his ego is also not enough of a cause given he had the fealty of the monks before and chose to leave them for Latveria.
Too much of what Doom does or intends to do borders on villainy, but too much of what he has done also cannot be easily placed there without stretching further than Mr.Fantastic to make it all fit neatly.
Now that Homecoming is out, share your top ten MCU villains.

If ya wanna bitch, go elsewhere

How is Ward so high?
>where's my drink?
>sorry sir, our mistake. There'll be no charge
Correct.
>where's my drink?
>b-b-but I didn't write it down reeeee fuck you
Incorrect. All mouthing off to a customer after you've fucked up will accomplish is you'll be fired after they call the manager and complain. And if that doesn't work, you can bet the issue will be taken to social media and I promise you'll be fired then.
>>93695589
>no charge
Do you know their boss?
He literally didn't ask for a drink
He still didn't need to be such a dick about it. Faggot ass fish, how about you drink the fucking water that's surrounding you every single second of your day?
>GO SOONERS
>GO YOU DALLAS COWBOYS GO
Who was in the wrong here?
Rooting for a sports team from a location you're not currently residing in is blasphemy.
Was this the hardest episode to watch?
>>93695457
That only made sense when sports teams were comprised of mostly members from the states they represent
>>93695283
Why through their whole diversity push did Marvel never make one of their characters transgender?
Trans is the hot new thing in oppression now so they'd get way more brownie points, it sidesteps the issue of replacing long running characters with cheap knockoffs and we get qt waifus with dicks
>>93695226
Why did you make this thread?
>>93695226
>we get qt waifus with dicks
Marvel's trans would never be anime-tier traps, they'd be board shouldered, 5'o clock shadow sporting dudes with lipstick.
>>93695226
>Wanting trans
Kill yourself.
Any good stories about Clayface? I'm specially interested in how Batman usually deals with him. I'm interested because of the ending of Arkham City: if Freeze had not given the ice grenades to Batman, how Bats would had defeated him?
It's clear to me /co/ doesn't read comics
>>93695303
comics are too expensive i just watch comic anime
>>93695303
too many words
games have pretty graphics and girls with big booby's
His wife died! Most husbands don't live long after their wives at that age...
>start the clock
>implying he didn't sap the life force out of his wife to mend the holes in his own hourglass
>>93694259
You've gone too far this time Stan. What next? WHAT NEXT?
I don't know man, my grandfather will be 98 in October and his wife died in '08.
