JMS Pete didn't even die, but had a much better death story than Ultimate. SAD!
I wonder what would have happened if Peter went into gay porn instead of regular show business. Would his uncle still be alive?

My insterest in Spider-Man died alongside him for sure

We'd get different daddies too. Interesting development.
Does Gwen have no sense of humor? Maybe she's just mad cause she's ugly and a nerd.

Lucy is underrated.

How come most of the comics in the "Best Of" lists more often than not feature horror/supernatural-related stories? Ask a random person in the boards to give you a list of the classics, and you'll get Sandman, Lucifer, Swamp Thing and all that. Or even cosmic stuff that deal with gods like Simonson's Thor or Fourth World. The more you getinto the indie territory, the more you find SPN related stuff. Why is that?
Sure, you can find classic sci-fi runs like the Metabarons, or some "essential capes", but you rarely hear people say "oh yeah, Green Lantern Mosaic is definitely the cream of the crop" or something along these lines.
Do these type of books have anything that allow for better storytelling?
Because this a simple visual medium.
All ya need is a good writer and a good artist.
You don't have to worry about a costume design or cgi design seemlessly matching anything, cause it's all just drawing.
Incredible over-the-top moments that would be impossible to pull off well in a movie, or just be a few second longly worded in pages of a book, can be pulled off easily in comics.
We are a medium where ultraviolence like The Mask or I Hate Fairland can thrive. We are a place that can make any monster you want to see pull off any action you mind produces, limited only to the skills of the artist.

It also helps that comics are usually an interest of some fans of pretty much every nerdy niche audience, so supernatural and horror stuff always will come this way if a maker of it thinks it'll be better/easier to pull off.
So the answers to your question would be:
1. It is simpler to pull off bigger ideas in drawing than prolly any other visual medium
2. We're fucking nerds, of course we're gonna love this stuff. It's practically made just for us.
Hey /co/, so I just woke up from one of the strangest /co/-related dreams I've ever had.
>far flung future of the year 3000, the justice league is still around, but due to all the crazy enemies they fight, the only surviving members are monstrously powerful god-like beings.
>All street level members have long since been wiped out, as well as pretty much all current members, oh but hey, Superman is still around, and he's the weakest member.
>He was essentially baby sitting me at the hall of justice when one of the league's villains attacked. Superman just evaded and kept away, and when he finally attacked, the villain's lasers tore through superman's torso, and superman flickered, this cloaking device gone, I saw his true form.
>Superman had long since been reduced to a mere torso, right shoulder, and bald head with some of his skull missing. Only kept alive by future tech.
That's kind of the end of the dream. The fight goes on, with us running, but I woke up before a meaningful conclusion.
Anyone else have any cool /co/ related dreams?

I've had a couple but I can't remember them.
Lion King
Aladdin
Frozen.....
And Now Hercules...
Alan Menken: >"Actually, I’m working on a stage version of Hercules.”
Who's hype for a stage version of Hercules?

Honey, you mean HUNKULES!
ITT: Great villains in mediocre/bad shows.
This dude was a top tier villain.
>Voiced by Tim Curry
>Actually succeeded in conquering an entire planet with drones and 3 henchmen
>Brilliant technician beyond human comprehension
>Ridiculously strong with Pedator invisibility on top
>Can solo the heroes all at once

i thought the mighty ducks cartoons was pretty good you fucking phone poster
>>93768673
Mighty Ducks weren't bad. They were pretty good.
If that could've been said for Quack Pack. Then again, Quack Pack had some nifty ideas that sadly were done badly (like the triplets being distinct from each other, yet instead of blending the typical triplets with independent personalities, they completely divided them since it's the whole thing with them was that they are one person divided into three).

>Tfw Tim Curry and Tony Jay will never have another conversation for us to hear
What did he mean by this?
>>93768665
They're really going to read something naked?
why
>>93768665
It will be a fat purple-haired gastropod in a corset

Gothopotamus is the word you're looking for.
How are the economies in the MCU/DCEU?
Because if aliens started to invade I'm pretty sure the stock market would collapse faster than any Black Monday or Tuesday
How does /co/ feel about Jim Henson's Tales of Sand?
I have never read it.

Why is it suddenly updating at what could be called a pace
TOO MANY FUCKING WORDS
garrison was a hot woman
Well the curves are there but he still has that face and that boob job is disgusting.
Why doesn't it work as a lie detector?
Because its not a danger-sense. It's a plot convenience-sense
Peter's a fucking terrible judge of character.
because they're the ghosts of all the webs he shot
Ah! Nooo! Nooo!
NoNo! No! NoNoNo!
Aaaaaaaargghh!
>ywn rape Kyle
Word of advice, fellow anons. If you ever want to talk about a cartoon, don't do it on this shithole. In fact, never ever try to talk about anything on /co/. That goes for people making their own /co/ material as well. I have a small animation in the works and I was going to post it here when I was done for feedback and exposure, but now I know that would be a fucking mistake.
>It's a "anon posts on /co/ to talk about how much he doesn't like /co/" episode
>>93767686
Expand that rule to "talking about talking about cartoons on /co/", please.
>>93767686
you don't post about cartoons here, you shitpost about them
ladiesor gayboisof /co/, what superhero dick do you hunger for the most?
Do you prefer good boy Clark, sticky Peter, brooding Bruce, playboy Stark, savage Logan, hate sex Manta, or maybe even size-changing Pym?
logan is a close second but for me it's this man
This slutty Dick.
not taking personality into account reed or plastic man could get pretty freaky
