The 90s show followed the source material more closely though the show was hindered by censorship. As for the source material, that can be good or bad. 90s marvel went weird places

Spectacular was Weisman's take on the universe and he took some liberties, did his own thing, but he's one hell of a writer.

Nah. I just live in a big house with a bunch of lazy people who all watched it at different times or left in on in the background while we were doing other stuff.

Captain America: Samuel "Uncle Sam" Rogers died during the Revolutionary War, but his spirit lived on. In times of war he empowers his descendants with THE DREAM, causing them to become CAPTAIN AMERICA. The only way to break the connection is to die in the name of that very dream and hopefully pass it on. The latest host is Steve Rogers, who was thought MIA in WWII, but was actually trapped under ice, awake and alive as the world moved on. Now... he is awake.
