Dinner I made earlier. Been messing with a pressure cooker and saw a recipe for making french onions fast and wanted to try it out. Needed something it would go with and decided to make hamburger steak with it.

It seems weird to me at this point not to take a picture of my food. It only takes a minute, and I've never even owned a smart phone.
I don't take pictures out in public (unless it's something I really want to remember, and nobody's around), but I take a pic of pretty much everything new that I make, just for future reference.
>food is the only thing in your life you care to look back on at this point

I smoked some chicken with pecan wood.
Made chicken wings for my crew on Sunday. That's probably about after half had been eaten.
Nope, I only brined them, put a dry rub on before smoking and then reapplied it after pulling them off the smoker. All in all I smoked 3 whole chickens today and everyone who had some really liked it.

This was the most bougie Vietnamese place I had ever been to, so of course they wouldn't have it. Fortunately, my grandmother makes bun bo hue once a month, so I get all the trotters and weird shit I want.
