WHAT IS HAPPENING

Has anyone had? Have they done this before?
>>
If it's chicken, chicken a la king. If it's fish, fish a la king. If it's turkey, fish a la king
>>
I bet it's Lent

That was my first thought. Doesn't some other fast food place do fish during Lent or on Fridays or both? Maybe BK or McDonald's
>>
Bk and mcd always has fish sandwiches, Wendy's does throughout lent. No chic-hate-gays around me, western ny.

who is this weenie genie
>>
>>7370113

Yeah but they have a 2 for 1 special during lent or Fridays (for Catholics) or something. Can't remember exactly what.

>>7370134

>a restaurant offers something new without changing anything else that they do
>FUCKING RELIGIOUS FAGS

Go be 13 on /b/
>>
>went to chick fil a twice today
>didn't see a fish sandwich

Lucky.
>>
>>7370155
It's probably "but at least we're not the south" guy
>>
>>7370155
>he doesn't realize chick-fila is one of Three christian super chains that close on Sunday for religous reasons.
But yeah, fuck that guy.
>>
>>7370413

Nah I get that. I know their reasons but I don't really care because it's nice that they do that. I'm not exactly religious but if someone wanted to help me because God said to I wouldn't complain about it.
>>
>>7370413
I'm also going to say this
Zaxby's is better then Chick Fill-a
>>7370437
Its more funny when people still get mad a company has a religous view to them.
>>
>>7369962
Probably a good idea to serve that on Fridays in Boston or something, desu.
>>
>>7370457
Yeah, it's real smahrt.
>>
>>7370452

How is Zaxby's better? Their breading is not nearly as good and their tendies are dry as hell half the time. Zax sauce is pretty great though.
>>
>>7370540
When I ate there, they did a pretty good job, but that was like 10 years ago.
though the one thing I missed living in the south east was heading to Nashville and have some hot chicken. Now all I can get is KFC brand hot chicken
>>
>>7370540
Zaxbys sucks but god damn that sauce is epin.

Better than raising canes by a mile
>>
>>7369962
I'm going to assume it's because they want to get in on the lent money. Off the top of my head I know Mcdonalds has been doing fish sandwhich deals during lent for years. I'll probably try it out next Friday or so.
>>
>>7370540
haven't tried zaxby's sauce, but chick-fil-a sauce is where it's at imo.
>>
>>7369962

They are embracing their christian fan base. Catholics eat fish on fridays during lent
>>
>>7370558

It's definitely not bad, and I go there sometimes, but Chicken Filet has them beat in every category aside from selection. All their sides are gross aside from the cheese curds too.
I went to Nashville for the first time recently and had the hot chicken. Never heard of it before KFC pulled it out. I got the extra spicy hot chicken, served as two cutlets each on top of a half a waffle, with poached eggs and sweet hollandaise on top. Very good but I did shit fire later and I rarely have that problem.

>>7370572

Chick-fil-a sauce is really good but Zaxby's is better. It's some ketchup and mayo mix with anchovies and spices mixed in. Perfect for fried chicken.
>>
>>7370575
I thought they could eat chicken? Or is it no land animals for the fridays?
>>
>>7370578
For Catholics it's no meat on Fridays, not sure about other denominations though.
>>7370577
I'll have to try it some time
>>
>>7370600
Most american denominations don't care what you eat during lent.
>>
Not a Catholic, but I love Lent for all of the fish specials everyone offers. I also love when the Polish church ladies sell pierogi to the public.
>>
>>7370827
>real Polish Pierogi's
Fucking. Delicious.
