whats the deal with coconut oil why is it on every recipe i see online? is it better then olive oil in some health way or is it just for the flavour
one of them lame "health" trends
you also see it in moisturisers and hair products because why the hell not.
just scoop it right out of the jar and rub your whole body in it, inside and out.

I guess it's one of hose fad things. Starbucks has coconut milk now, made with single-origin Sumatran coconuts, as an alternative to their soy milk as a lactose-free option.
How's that for buzzwords?

I actually bought some today and fried some ground beef in it and it tasted okay but I'll have to try rubbing it on my body. I'll have to try it with some other stuff and see if I can actually taste the coconut because I'm actually a fan of it.
>tfw you fell for the trend
It doesn't even taste like anything. I tried a small spoonful of it and it just tasted like candle wax when solid and like nothing melted. I just put it on food to add easy calories. I'm a skeleton.
Coconut oil's good for baking sweet stuff. I don't like to use olive oil for blueberry muffins, for example, and I hate to waste butter.
