I know absolutely nothing about it. I imagine it is ok and probably meat-heavy.

They tend to look ugly as fuck but in terms of taste they're ok

I've eaten it all my life.

Lots of vinegar and/or soy. All the major proteins, land and sea, plus offal. It's all peasant food, so there's not much to any of it.

I've had it all as my dads side is pinoy
Lumpia, adobo, pancit, and deserts like ube are really good though they are real heavy
Then there are terrifying horror dishes like sinigang which is a vinegary fish head soup. Overall it's not terrible but it's also not something I go out of my way to eat
