Holy fuck boys I'm gettin drunk tonight. I'm also going to cook up some food.
Starting with some japchae and then later I'll make some 'gers followed by some kind of cod.
Pic related, my ingreds for japchae.
sliced up the meat, here is the meat which was sliced up.
Pack your meat into a bowl with some shitake mushrooms that have been soaking in water for a couple of hours.
Throw some sesame oil, soy sauce, black pepper, and brown sugar in there and let that sit while we get the rest of ingred ready.
All washed and ready to be cut into small pieces.
Work on that ginger.
Secret mushroom slicing technique, cut more than one mushroom at once if you want to go fast.
OK now I'm ready to start applying heat.
Get some wine into you before you start using fire.
Put the rice on.
Almost forgot the spinach; can't forget the spinach. Don't forget the spinach.
Noodles ready these things explode when you break them in half so have a vacuum ready.
Toast some sesame seeds in the microwave.
Spinach put into the water you use for cooking the noodles... for like 15 seconds, then chopped up a little and add some soy sauce, sesame oil, black pepper, sesame seeds.
Noodles done, look at this shit, neat.
Also add some brown sugar, more sesame oil and soy sauce and seeds here with a squeeze of lemon.
Throw carrot and peppers in.
Now throw carrots and the peppers in.
Cook mushrooms, ginger, garlic.
Fluff rice, and let it steam off a bit.
Throw mushrooms ginger garlic in and add some more sesame oil and soy sauce and a little brown sugar.
Now onions, cook for like 20 seconds; no limp onions please.
Meat and shit hockey mushrooms into the frying pan.
a little more sesame oil , sesame seeds, soy sauce, brown sugar, small amount; mix up. Ready to put it on plate w/ rice now.
Don't forget your weeb sticks.
Later I'm going to make burgers and post as I go; thought up a pretty dank secret meme sauce I'm gonna use.
Subbed :)

Looks damn good. I'd eat it just like that. I guess I'm not Asian enough to want noodles with rice on the side.
>>7348260
Looks good my man. Cheers
Through about a bottle of wine now and look what just arrived in the mail. Maybe i'll try this out w/ my cod later.

Koreans make the best food ever.
They cannot do wrong in the culinary arts.
Japanese dogs will never be as good as Koreans at cooking.
Even North Korean food looks more appetizing than yakitori or satsumaage
Try not to eat too much Ravioli
>>7348255
What's your japchae recipe?
>>7348520
every step is in the pics; I don't measure anything
>>7348506
yeah korean food is the best. This korean family owns a deli and they make korean specials sometimes. bibimbap , bulgolgi beef, it's good stuff.
>>7348561
near where I work meant to say...
Going to start burgers in about an hour. This is what I'm thinkin lads:
Patty:
80/20 beef
lots of ginger
honey
egg
bread crumbs
salt
pepper
Onion bun.
put the patty on it and pile on the sauce.
Sauce:
Heat packet from korean challenge noodles
ketchup
sriracha
mayo
squeeze lemon
Throw a crispy onion ring on top of that and put some mushrooms in the middle.
add lettuce.
got some steamed mixed vegetables to add on the side; and some onion rings obv.
Good news everyone. Here are the ingreds I am using for my burger.
>>7349264
Going to go make the patty now, will post a pic when it's done; I feel a poop coming on though so we'll see, might be a little while.
Ready 2 mix it up.
beef
honey
ginger
black pepper
salt
egg
bread crumb
meatloaf sandwich incoming
Here's the patty; now I must shit. then we chopping vegetables and getting that sauce and onion ring ready.
Sauce incoming, first crack open another bottle of wine and get started. This wine is pretty good if you've never tried it before I suggest giving it a eggo.
Meme ingredient one; hot sauce from korean spicy noodle challenge bowl.
Throw it into the bowl.
Throw the rest in. Looks pretty nasty but looks good stirred up.
Here is the hot sauce, ketchup, sriracha, mayonaise, korean bbq sauce, and lemon juice
The sauce, good on hot dogs and pasta as well (I think). so I'll save some for later dishes.
this lettuce tho; heating up the pans now to cook. my oven is broken TT, hit bake and nothing happens TT so cooking onion rings on a skillet.
ok it's burger time.
Assembling.
The onion ring and mushrooms, patty sitting under the foil.
GG, quite spicy and quite delicious. I'm about half way through it now.
looks pretty decent would have left the onion ring off
tell me about the bun
>>7349484
basically just this; Ideally would have used buns from fuddruckers, love those buns, but didn't have those.
>>7348449
Don't worry, japchae is commonly eaten without rice and you can eat it hot or cold, so it's great no matter the season. I prefer it on its own, though japchaebap is pretty good every now and again.
>>7348078
Japchae is me and my gf's code wird for blowjob
>>7348260
Looks great anon. Thanks for the nice thread.
>>7348260
Now just do it again and take all the previous pics with the camera you used to take this one.
>>7350241
Not very sweet, I don't put very much brown sugar in now but I used to in the past to make it sweeter. Tastes good either way imo
>>7350213
The pics I take in my kitchen always come out with a yellow tint for some reason; also my camera is an iphone4, not even an 4s lol; I should really go upgrade.
Got some cod thawing out for dinner later; going to cook that up with some linguine / asparagus / and some kind of thai curry sauce. Just going to make some 'ghetti while I wait for it to thaw.
Thawing it in the fridge so it needs like 7 more hours
just posting a couple of pics of the spa' while w8 for this cod to thaw. I'm drinkin champagne today; 1 bottle down on the second, then on to some beers... I have sauvignon blanc as well but I try to keep that for when I cook sea food.
anyway, pic relate in next post.
>>7352365
Always toss your sauce into your 'sta, otherwise you don't really know what you're doing.
>>7352368
Just an easy snack w/ some garlic breads.
Also later in the thread I'm going to try out the habanero ramyun; I suspect it's going to be way way way way hotter than the challenge nooodles that trend on youtube.
>>7348192
nice microwave
>>7352370
refried beans? in lieu of the match today...
>>7352624
not sure what you mean. no beans in there.
I'm getting prepped to start on my cod now, 2 bottles of champagnay in me ^^... I have no oven so I'm just going to try cooking the fish in the sauce i'm making; will post updates.
OK desu senpai here is a pic of my ingreds for the cod dish I'm gonna make.
We have
nice thick piece of cod
green onion
aspergers
linguine
red thai chili paste
coconut milk
chicken broth
coconut
wine
shallots
ginger
salt
pepper
paprika
The fish is still a little icy so I'm just gonna let it sit there for a bit while I prep the rest and get my pans and shit ready.
>>7352802
forgot pic. here it is.
Ok everything is prepped and I'm going to go cook this up now w/ a step by step in case anyone wants to try it.
Are you a vampire?
>>7352883
Are you a people?
putting some pics together now of my cod; inc soon.
Well I'll admit that I am insomniac right now too but I also not cooking dinner at 8ish am
Ok get that oil going.
Throw your shallots and ginger into the peter
>>7352903
who is this horn handler?
throw in that red thai curry sauce.
Add coconut malk, chicken broth, lemon (or orange) squeeze after first adding the wine, let the wine bang all of those flavors out for about 30 seconds before you add the above.
so this is aspergers in white wine. lazy as fug method of cooking. throw this in the microwave for 2 minutes w/ a paper towel on top.
Fish goes into the sauce. and cover it for at least 9 minutes.
Looking alright, kind of looks like some kind of turtle thing, neat.
This is pretty terrible plating, but hey, I'm drunk as fuck so who cares. it was very good btw.
>>7352916
It's a doll...
