WHAT WAS THE LAST THING YOU COOKED FOR DINNER?
Here you go chef:

>Spinach/watercress/rocket salad with red pesto
I am a contented man
>this is his dinner
Listen up anon
Go to Aldi or whatever cheap shitty shop is near you and buy a whole chicken. You can get small ones for like 3 euro here.
Go home, smear a little butter on the skin, then put that fucker in the oven at like 180 celcius (20 mins per 1lb/500g, plus 20 mins).
Take it out. If the legs are now really wobbly, it's cooked
Congratulations you sad, malnourished bastard, you cooked your first roast chicken, enjoy. Learn to do some roast potatoes in goose/duck fat (EZPZ), and get some Bisto gravy, and you're fucking golden
This shit, I posted it in another thread...
Swedish meatballs on top of white rice and sauteed veggies
Stir fried rice
Chicken, brown rice, red pepper, sugar snap peas, red onion, corn, bean sprouts, scrambled egg
I undercooked the egg, but it's still pretty good. Made enough to have dinner for a few days.
It was an easy weeknight meal. Grilled vegetables, beans, cheese, lettuce, pico de gallo, guacamole, salsa verde. I wish I'd had some meat to add, but didn't have anything in the house at the time.
I just ate some fish curry. I had to do something with these nerpy frozen cod cubes, so I marinated them in lemon juice and tikka paste, then used the rest of the tikka paste and garlic, ginger, onion, dried thai chilies, potaters, broccoli, chickpeas and red bell pepper for the curry itself, and finished it with yoghurt. I couldn't get fresh cilantro though. Then, I dry-fried the fish cubes until they started to scorch, and loaded all that stuff on top of some steamed rice.
I made some onigiri
It came out okay
I used smoked salmon and green onions because I didn't have anything else
I also used some pickled peppers, but I can't see myself eating too much of those
Homemade flax bread with homemade mayonnaise and smoked cod liver.
Fried eggs in some chicken fat I rendered when making crispy skins for the soup I'm having tonight.
Baby spinach and tomato salad with homemade tahini and red wine vinaigrette.
It was shit.
>pita warmed in oven for 10 min
>sliced (de-seeded) organic tomatoes
>dash of salt
>more olive oil
Look everyone, he's using a paper plate! He's poor! Let's all laugh
I had some frozen perogies I made fresh awhile back but I should've frozen them separately before throwing them in the same bag because when I put them in boiling water some broke apart and ended up as a potato soup.
Ramen with spinach leaves and egg
Forgive shit quality
Horrible picture but pretty ok. Was a bit of an experiment.
Yes. Just switched over from vegetarian recently. Been pretty close for a while and manned up and just did it. Feels good in my soul.
Brussels sprouts with onion, mushroom, salt and pepper. Used some onion and mushroom to add to my potatoes for moisture. Was ok. Would have just used stock but ran out recently so was making so with convenient options.
Eating it right now. Tried a marinaded chicken breast for the first time. Turned out fucking delicious and it's so tender.
My own take on sang choy bow
>chilli, garlic, pork mince, chopped prawns, celery, red capsicum, spring onion cooked in a wok with sesame oil, mushroom soy and chinese 5 spice
>mixed in bean sprouts and fresh coriander after cooking
>serve in a cos lettuce leaf
>top with crushed peanuts and lime juice
Tteokboki. Charred fresh rice cake in a smidge of oil in a smoking wok, took them out, tossed in napa cabbage and scallions, let that char a bit, put in some gochu jang, soy sauce, rice vinegar, let it bubble down a bit and mixed in the rice cakes.
Just made this, sticky lemon chicken.
Coincidentally i learned it from a Gordon Ramsay video.
15 roast turkeys, 4 spinach stuffed pork loins, 4 whole salmon worth of filets, mashed potatoes, baked sweet potatoes, rice & barley pilaf, garlic roasted green beans, green peas, baked acorn squash with a cranberry relish, potato leek soup, chicken noodle soup, chicken curry soup & turkey cannelini bean chili
A FUCKING PAIR OF SMALL BURGERS WITH KALE, WHEAT ROLLS, PICKLES, CHILE CON QUESO, AND JALAPENO RANCH, AND A LITTLE BIT OF MUSTARD
Currently making a pot roast.
Should be done in about three more hours...
