Anyone on /ck work at Chipotle?
How were their food preparation standards? Was this E.coli food poisoning inevitable or was it a fluke?
I'm sure the prep standards were fine. The problem is prep standards in the store didn't really matter when their produce got contaminated at the source and then distributed throughout the country.
Just wash your fucking hands after using the toilet room and you'll be fine 99% of the time. It doesn't matter how clean you think you are, other people are disgusting and even just brushing up against the wrong surface can have consequences.
If your food is dirty, it won't matter if you washed your hands or not
My dad ate at Chipotle last week without knowing about the scandal. The manager was so happy to see a customer, personally greeted my dad, shook his hand, and handed him a "buy 1 get 1 free" meal coupon and told him to please bring a friend next time.
