I'm hungry af, and want to cook some white rice. However, what do I do with them? I have no meat available, just basic stuff. I'm considering a peanut-sauce, but is that possible with salted peanuts? Other simple recipes are more than welcome.
You could make a curry or something.

I've got some curry laying around actually. And coconut milk. For veggies, I only got potatoes (sweet and white), beetrot and Jerusalem artichokes.
Fry an egg sunny side up and just put it on top of the rice. Tastes pretty good
I just pour maple syrup on it. 3-4 tablespoons on 100g
There's your recipe

Growing up in a Thai household we always had a bottle of fish sauce. I eat my rice plain with a few dashes of it. Doubt you'll have that lying around though

What are your current resources, sauce/extras-wise? I was once a broke as fuck college student and had to make due with a bag of Botan, a rice cooker, and very little else.

Potatoes are good in curry. Do the sweet ones.

Fuck, make a curry then.
If you've got the curry and potatoes, that's a simple enough meal.

Pretty far away, I'm Scandinavian. But I got a brand new bottle. Might try a little portion with that. Same goes for maple syrup haha.

bbq, ketchup, mustard, mayo, remo, sweet-chili, chili-glaze, soy-sauce, fish-sauce, balsamic vingear, maple syrup, 1 lemon, beer. That would be the liquids.
I've got the veggies stated in the post above, aswell as oats, peanuts, chia, soy-meat, ricepaper, seaweed.. Maybe more
I got onions aswell!
I forgot about my essentials haha. Lenses (red and green), all kinds of beans and chopped tomatoes aswell as puré.

If you've got the means to make sticky rice, make some motherfucking vegan maki rolls.
Soak the soy-meat in a bit of soy sauce, spread the sticky rice on the seaweed, and nom the fuck out of it while downing a beer.

Great idea!
I've decided on a curry with onions/sweetpotato/PB/coconut milk. And I'll make some sushi aswell.

Eggs are cheap and easy, with soy sauce
Dumping results in a min

Eggs and put some soy sauce
Onions and ginger in the pot
Curry and cumin getting 'burnt' with the onions and ginger for ~5 min
Added a can of chopped tomatoes, while showing off half of the sweet potatoes
Found out I had ~800g of ginger. Also added coconut milk
Curry cooking, added PB
Rice done
Rice left for sushi, curry left for the freezer
Curry on rice. Done.
Never made a curry before; tasted decent. I need a stronger curry powder tho' (and it wasn't even mine, but the Indian girl I live with).
