What's your favorite sandwich?
toast sandwich
my desert island sandwich would be boiled egg, lemon and black pepper mayo and really good tomatoes on either some crusty white or seeded wholemeal bread.
special treat would be like a reuben or something
Grilled chicken with lettuce, tomato, and mustard on a toasted whole wheat bun.
Chick-fil-A has a good one, but I have a charcoal grill and they taste nearly identical for less money. They also add pickle which I omit.
Can I pick cheesesteak?
>>7336456
Change boiled egg to sunny side up and you got yourself a tip top tier sandwich
>>7336484
Oh fuck I was about to say reuben and now I'm having issues.
That or every once in awhile I get this weird craving for a waldorf tuna with sprouts/lettuce/onion/tomato and have to eat one. Same with bacon cheeseburgers.
Reuben because it's soo meaty
Big Mac
Cannot beat a well made club.
>>7336514
Why you post BBQ now?!?! New choice: pulled pork sammich.
My favorite sandwich of all time comes from a little Greek pizza shop in Worcester, MA. They make a tuna sub with bacon and raw onions that breaks my heart every time I eat it. Combined with a cold glass of soda and a bag of Wachusett sour cream and onion chips, it's the best sandwich experience I've had.
Better than po' boys, gyros, banh mi, lobster rolls or any other shit you can come up with.
Jimmy John's #9. Get mad
>>7336535
Go carolina and throw some slaw or pickles/onion on that shit though. I have to balance my sandwiches out with the meat/veggie ratios usually.
>>7336543
#5 bread in, cut in half, extra dijon, sprouts, peppers
>>7336442
Does the McGangbang count as a sandwich? God I love shitposting
>>7336442
For me it's the McChicken Sandwich, the best fast food item.

>>7336589
Look again, poindexter. They're in there
Meat, beans, lettuce, spinach, cilantro, avocado, onion, and cheese with a bit of hot sauce.
Philly cheese (american, not whiz) steak with onions.
>>7336442
Doner kebab in Berlin is one of the greatest fast dining experiences I've ever had. This one place called Delikato made me weep every time I bit into a doner.
>>7336442
Best sandwich I ever had was half a baked salmon on Orange and cranberry wholewheat bread.
>>7336442
Coastman's sandwich from NW USA
Regional favorite what u could take from many food surplus checkpoints: Coastman's Plus - regular costman plus cheese drill
Coastman's Soft - wet coastman's "on the fly"
>>7336442
Tuna mayo and cheddar cheese toastie
>>7336559
Try a McDouble with Oreo crumbs on it.

I work at a place called Macado's and eat pic related with potato salad probably 3-5 times a week
>>7337733
Looks good. I'd pass out after I ate it.
>>7336442
I have 2.
1.) BLT with avacado and the tomatoes salted and peppered.
2.) Toasted bagel sandwich with a thin layer of cream cheese on each side, lox, a little bit of raw red onion, and tomatoes with each tomato salted and peppered.
I like a good old fashioned tomato basil mozz on baguette
>>7336442
Ones where the ingredients dont levitate.
>>7336442

>>7336577
You are now my bro.

Call me simple, but nothing beats a good ol' peanut butter and grape jelly sammich on toasted wheat bread.
>>7340293

>>7336528
For me it is the McChicken. The best fast food sandwich.
>>7336442

turkey breast, dill havarti, grainy mustard, pickles, lettuce, red onion, preferably with a bowl of soup on the side
>>7336442
Just had a lamb burger on a toasted salt and black pepper bun, with feta cheese, romaine lettuce, beef tomato, fresh red chilli and coriander, was rather good.
Not really a sandwich but its stuff between bread.
>>7340339
Philly phaggot.
>>7340389
i love you baby
honestly though if youve never had it, at least try it
Hmmm. I really like pastrami, sharp cheddar, gherkins, razor thin red onions, mustard and mayo, with salt and pepper on dense rye. But I like shitty sandwiches as well so something like chicken breast, sunblush tomato's and red onion with mayo.
You have been bested my friends
Stupid pic didn't attach.. Still bested
>>7336442
i went to some chain sub place one time, i dont remember what it was, but there was this bomb ass sandwich that had roasted turkey thanksgiving stuffing and cranberry sauce
Philly Cheesesteak and Reuben. Not at the same time obviously... Or maybe obviously...Diet be damned!
>>7340446
primos?
regardless, i second that. yes. awesome sandwich ingredients.
A philly cheesesteak from a local place called Buontempo Brothers. I've had a lot of cheesesteak, and a lot of pizza, and nowhere I've tried even comes close to Buontempo's. Pic isn't from there, but it looks similar.
>steak
>mayo
>lettuce
>sauteed onion
>provolone
I usually get it "no hots", so without jalapenos, but sometimes I like to get it with. I also get it without tomato, because fuck tomato.
>>7340489
oh man that sure looks good
>sandwich thread
>no ice sandwich
Disappointed in you guys
Farstastands macka
It's from a local place close to where I live, it's mainly a pizza place, but their sandwiches are amazing
Bread made out of pizza dough, toppings are roast beef, fried onion, garlic sauce and lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber
Also it's huge and cheap so it's like 2 meals for $5 or something
Pic isn't mine, just snagged it of google (it's the one though, just with ham instead of roast beef)
Tastes so much better than it looks though
Leftover roast meats with cold paxo stuffing, bread sauce and mayo. On buttered seeded brown bread.
>>7340653
fuck i love christmas
although mayo what the fuck
>>7340653
b...bread sauce?
what kind of heathen idea is this.
>>7340661
Cold stuffing and mayo works surprisingly well.
>>7340668
When bread sauce goes cold it gets sort of solid, think cold porridge consistency. Stays in a sandwich well.
>>7340668
a cream/milk based sauce infused with onion and clove - like a bechamel - and thickened with stale bread.
it's fucking awesome at christmas
>>7340678
It's an all year round roast accompaniment for me. Too good for only one time of the year. Roast chicken and bread sauce also a winner.
BLT with swiss
Philly
>>7340498
Went out and got one for dinner. Dropped it on the way in fumbling with my keys so it got a little bit mangled, but this is what it looks like.

A 24-min slow-cooked grilled cheese. White bread, salted butter thinly distributed, yellow American. There's no need to mess it up with anything extra.

>>7341738
>jalepenos instead of banana/cherry peppers
>mayo
>lettuce
How is this level of faggotry allowed?
There used to be an Italian hero joint kitty-corner from my apartment called Chubby Mary's that did the best goddamn shrimp hero I've ever had. You know how whenever you get fried shrimp it's about a fifty-fifty chance they'll taste dirty or have a shitty fry job? Somehow this place got it perfect every time. Five or more giant, fat, fist-sized butterflied fried shrimp, a ladle of piping hot vodka sauce from a pot simmering on the stovetop, and fistfuls of provolone so you had delicious vodka cheese lava running everywhere and yet the shrimp somehow stayed crunchy. It was fucking transcendent- if I could only eat one sandwich for the rest of my life that would have been it. Unfortunately my neighborhood is overrun with hipsters and yuppies that can't appreciate that kind of food so the shop is long gone.
Do burgers count as sandwiches for the purposes of this thread?
>>7341748
for the purposes of this thread? aren't burgers classified as sandwiches ?

Blackened chicken instead of Milanese and no cheese
Also ciabatta bread instead
>>7336559
Does it count as shitposting if it's actually a good sandwhich from a fast food place? As for ones you make yourself, I gotta love the good old fashioned ham and cheese loaf on white bread.
>whole wheat toast
>butter
>ham
>Gouda or Edamer cheese
>fried egg, yolk still runny
>cherry tomatos
>lettuce
