I want to make a Frito chili pie and don't know what kind

I like to use hot dog chili sauce for chili frito pie and chili dogs. Any brand will do.

Texan hipsters like to say that chili consists of beef, peppers, spices, and nothing else.

They ignore the fact that chili also exists outside of Texas and that some people like milder chili (with tomatoes in addition to peppers) and that some people like to put beans into chili for convenience instead of having them on the side.

No the issue for chili dogs is texture. I eat chili with beans all the time, but for chili dogs canned chili no beans is the only choice. I use Armour.
