Average of 1/3? Maybe?

Don't tell me you eat pizza every week you fat fuck

He's actually asking how many times a week you eat it, so he eats it more than once a week.

I would eat pizza at least 2 nights a week if I could. Unfortunately, my close ones think there's something wrong with bread, cheese and vegetables if it comes in the form of a pizza. They eat all the ingredients every day in other dishes but consider pizza unhealthy.

flour is standard bread flour (typically just gold medal better for bread). baked on a preheated terracotta tile.

here's another
>>
>>7320089

That looks pretty fucking good.

People will probably complain about the toppings being under cooked or otherwise releasing too much liquid, but that looks alright to me.

Could use some anchovies.
>>
>>7320089

Looks pretty good. Microblistering means the dough was fermented. There's no gum-line, though, and that's sort of weird. Toppings could be cooked more.

maybe once every two months now. I used to eat it more often maybe once a week or so I would get a supreme or 4 cheese Red Barron pizza and put anchovies on it. Now I usually get delivery.
>>
lads I just had a domino's

shit was nasty, flavorless cheese, soggy crust

2/10 would not recommend
>>
>>7322663
Its not nasty dominoes is basic delivery pizza. My favorite however would have to be pizza hut.
>>
>>7322670
I like pizza huts sauce although I know some people don't.
>>
>>7322670
Domino's is worse than basic delivery pizza. The texture of the crust is crap and the sauce is overpoweringly sweet, such that you can hardly taste any of the savoury ingredients.

Pizza Hut on the other hand is alright as far as chain pizza goes. Tends to be less soggy and without all the added sugar. The main reason I order from any place like that though is their novel ways of serving cheese and other fattening things. I used to enjoy the hotdog mustard crust at Domino's, it meant I could enjoy pizza and hot dogs at the same time without having to choose.

At least once a week for me. I live right next to a Domino's, AND a Wal-Mart where I can get those Totino's party pizzas (which are addictive as all fuck). Plus, I get regular emails from Pizza Hut and Papa John's when good deals come up. It's hard to stay healthy when I can 50% off a pizza to celebrate my college winning a basketball game.
>>
0.5 times per week.

Once or twice a month, mainly because my gf is fond of pizza and will bring some home every now and then.

>>
Pizza night three Friday's a month. One pan style, two New York style.
>>
>>7319560
This. But delivery pizza blows away my homemade pizza, and I hate baking, so I'm considering retiring homemade pizza from my repertoire. Just doesn't seem worth it.
>>
>>7326787
Forgot to mention.
Pan style is straight from Serious Eats.
Incredibly easy, really good results (but has to be eaten immediately, terrible when reheated).

My New York style:
Food processor method, 48 hour cold ferment.

24 ounces bread flour (I use Morbread, 11.5% protein, so kinda soft; have been considering modernist cuisine's added vital wheat gluten technique)
.5 ounces sugar
.35 ounces fine sea salt
.5 ounces active dry yeast

1.2 ounces extra virgin olive oil
15 ounces water (room temp)

Cooked on a baking steel.
I'm still learning. It tastes good, but it's a bit moist and sticky, very hard to transfer.

Same sauce for both, inspired by Serious Eats':
1 (28-ounce) can whole peeled tomatoes (San Marazano preferred)

1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
3 medium cloves garlic, grated
1 teaspoon dried oregano
pinch red pepper flakes

Kosher salt
2 (6-inch) sprigs fresh basil with leaves attached
1 medium yellow onion, peeled and split in half
1 teaspoon sugar

Roughly puree tomatoes until they're not quite liquid, but there are no large chunks at all.

Melt butter with olive oil. Gently cook oregano, grated garlic and red pepper until fragrant.
Add tomato puree to pan, stir in sugar, add halved onion, and basil.
Bring to boil, reduce to mild simmer, leave alone half an hour.
Remove basil and onions.

Usually makes about a pint.

Last batch I did an experiment. Lightly strained half the tomato puree, adding the liquid back to the first half. After the hour of simmering, add reserved solids to the pan. Gives a brighter, fresher tomato taste. Not sure if it's worth while.

>>7322745
Papa John's is a little sweeter and has a little more bread.
>>
>>7319511
Up to ten times a month.
Just keep some dough balls in the freezer.
I use the recipe from Roberta's cookbook.
>>
>>7320089

>often a week

i eat like once every 3 months, and i live in mediterranean europe

this is why the U.S is full of fatties.
>>
We get half off at papa johns whenever a local sports team wins, so once a week we get a extra large 'the works', remove onion add pineapple add extra cheese. Gives us 2 days of food generally.

I'll cook a totinos for myself one night a week at least, and then one of those Aldi brand pizzas, can never remember the brand. Mama Cozi maybe. We split one of those.

So... 1 chain pizza, 2 frozen pizzas a week minimum.
>>
>>7327771
*meant to add at the half price, that extra large runs us about $10.60

That turbo crust though. Haven't had jets in a minute it occurs to me now. How often I eat pizza ebbs and flows but honestly I could eat it every other day probably if money or health was no object lol

Only people in the eastern states will know or understand but Donatos has great pizza for a chain. I never eat at little ceasars, dominos, papa johns, or Pizza Hut. They are all total shit in comparison.

Pic related
>>
>>7327771
we watch out for those half off papa johns deals as well. Hard to beat it as far as fast food is concerned. 10 bucks for a few days worth of food
>>
Once a month bare minimum. We like to save back some of our SNAP/EBT for one papa murphys stuffed family size pizza. About $12 after coupon.

Depending on our cash situation we try to get pizza hut/papajohns or one of the others once a week as well.
>>

How does one extra large pizza give you two days of food? I get an extra large and one of those cookie pizzas every time the Miami Heat win and they barely lasts me 3 meals, much less 2 days, by myself.

I really like them, a little pricey but worth it. Crostata best seasonal and Pagliaccio best salad.

Jets is fucking delicious and in my humble opinion is better if you take it home, refrigerate it, then bake it again the next day. Idk it feels like the taste gets infused deeper and stuff.

10/10 pizza, will jet again.
>>
>>7330755
Don't eat just pizza.

A salad goes a long way. Pizza satsifies your fat and protein but your body also craves the vitamins of salad.
>>
>>7319511
Back when I was in my 20's and biked 60-80 miles a week I ate pizza three times a week. Now that I'm in my 40's and just lift weights every other day I eat pizza once every two months.

But I'm no fan of Midwest pizza. I don't like very bready, greasy pizza.
>>
>>7327778
Donatos is p. damn gr8. They have a permanent advantage over the other major chains because their sauce actually tastes savory, unlike the sugary bullshit used by Domino's, Pizza Hut and Papa John's (PJ being the worst offender of the three)

It is a stuff cheesey bread made from our buttery pan dough (has butter inside the dough) rolled in our parmesan asiagi. The cheese inside is motzerella, chedder, provolone, alfrado sauce, our white American cheese , feta, and more parmesan asiago. (Butter drizzle on top so it does not burn )
More parmesan asiago and provolone.
>>

>>7334077

Someone explain why I can never get my stuff looking as cheesy as other places? I can load up my pizza with cheese, but after it's done cooking, it always looks dry. But the cheese from pizza places and shit always look gooey even a half-hour to an hour after it's been out of the oven.

The hell is wrong with my cheese? I've tried many different kinds, even some expensive as fuck high quality cheese. Do they mix melted cheese with cream or something to keep the consistency gooey? What am I doing wrong?
>>
