>>7318032
oh god yes
what is it? fried? roasted?
>>7318032
No haha
>>7318040
Well first i cut them almost all the way trough, then i put some olive oil, salt &pepper
Put them in the oven for around 45min @450F
Once they are ready i take them out put some butter on top and they are ready to serve.
Pretty simple to do
>>7318063
If I skip the butter step will they taste bad? I'm trying to cut unnecessary fats
What does the slicing do?
Meh, average hasselback potatoes.
>>7318079
No just use a lot of extra salt
>>7317925
peruvian here . that potato looks really sad :(
>>7317925
Looks perfect. This is the first time I've ever seen a rate my food thread that didn't start with garbage.
>>7317925
Looking good OP. Hasselback potatoes are great. Pic related
>>7317925
hassleback. nice potatoes. did them at work a few weeks ago, well received.
>>7318578
Nice.
In the gif I've seen of hasselback potatoes cooking, the cheese or butter or whatever seems to melt immediately to the bottom. Does the upper portion of the potato still get butter, or is it left just tasting like potato?
Also OP, it looks like you made less cuts than say >>7318578 , does that affect it at all? Was the potato soft all the way through, or were some of the thicker slices still firm?
>>7318578
I want to eat that.
>>7318578
don't know if it's a shit pic or my shot laptop but i cant see how that piece of meat is cooked. looks medium to me. look sperfect
Cube it along with a thick cut steak so it's layered then cook it in foil drench in butter and thyme.
