i'm off to buy a pasture raised pork butt

i'm going to make a shit ton of pulled pork in the slow cooker and can it so i can have pulled pork sandwiches when i feel like it and not have to cook a pork butt for a day every time

help me come up with a good recipe for sauce

Have you tried a Carolina vinegar sauce, anon?

They go exceptionally well with pork.

1 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbs sea/kosher/course salt
1 tbs red pepper flakes
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp cayenne pepper

Best to heat it up in a sauce pan to a simmer to get a good mix, and then store it in the fridge overnight before use.

WTF. Do you see canned meat that is ever any good?

Just freeze it in some thick ziplocs, dude. Not like slow cooker pork is that awesomely good or anything. It gets too hot/overcooked and weird texture. Heat it by broiling on the sauce. Don't store it in sauce, bleh.
