What's the point of cooking croissants if the only time to eat them is the morning and you only want one and you're not feeding a family of particularly discerning mormons who can appreciate the finer details of a good croissant?

You can get the dough ready and bake 5 every morning for you, your wife and 3 children, before going to work.

They're are much better in the morning, but I don't mind eating croissants throughout the day.

I like those crescent rolls. They're all right.

Yeah or I could just buy one at one of several excellent bakeries near work, since I don't have a wide-hipped child factory at home or 3 little life-ruining snot monsters

We're in opposite situations then, as I have no excellent bakeries near work, but do have 3 little life-ruining snot monsters.

Give us the recipe! I must make a 300 layered croissant!

in the episode its a standard croissant recipe that is just folded fifteen time instead of the usual 3-4 and baked with a gimmick. might work, might not.

the real recipes from the anime are here. ive done a few, they're ok!
