What are the best low calorie, low preparation foods? I'm going on a diet in a few weeks, but I don't have a lot of time at home due to work. I don't really eat lunch or breakfast, so I don't have a ton of meals to cover for, but I'm looking to eat under 1100 calories for a while while I grind it out with exercise. I did this last year over a month, and lost 25 lbs, but I got burned out on eating fish from Rubio's and vegetables in hot sauce.
Suggestions? Fast food items are acceptable. I'll eat just about anything, I'm not picky.
What makes people think this is a good idea? Like "ok I'm a lazy fuck with no cooking skills, instead of actually doing a few minutes of googling and reading based on my own tastes and skill set, I'm going to post on 4chan, wait an hour or two for the replies to roll in, and pick a random text-based response that looks reasonable"

plain raw vegetables
Baby dill pickles are a great snack, that is if you don't mind all the sodium. Stick to soups, salad and lean meats.

I can cook. I'm not a professional chef, but I have my dishes that are my staples, and people seem to love. If I want to put together some low calorie shit, I can follow a recipe that I've Googled without a problem. But, everything is just that: a recipe. I don't want a recipe that I need a bunch of pots and pans for, or a bunch of different preparation, because I'm stuck at work and don't have the time to do this.
God forbid I imagine that I'll find someone lazy on 4chan who might have found something I haven't thought of.
You know what exactly answers my question, even though it's something I already eat? Pickles. Pickles are like 5 calories each, and are a little more tasty than eating a cucumber. Maybe someone knows of a particularly tasty thing I can pop in the microwave.
It's not that out of the realm to just ask.
