My wife got me this for Christmas. I haven't made anything with it yet, but god damn, just as a cookbook itself it's gorgeous. Brief history of the various regions of Indian cuisine. Handy glossary in the back for us westerns not very familiar with certain ingredients. The photos are just gorgeous.
Anybody else got it? Any recommendations?
I git this for xmas, and have made nine of the recipes so far. Great stuff, but I had to go to the Indian store for curry leaves.
