You know, I hate shit posting, and I'm sorry guys, but this is probably a shit post. Especially in /ck/... I'm gonna post a pretty good OC tomorrow so maybe this will make up for it.
How does beer get you so drunk? It's like 5% alcohol, but if I have like 7-8 I have a good buzz rolling. But, if I drink hard liqueur that's like 70 proof, even after a few shots I don't feel anything.
Is it like a volume per alcohol ratio? I think this needs some serious discussion, especially since we have so many drunks on /ck/.
I was thinking about this the other day in regards to wine. Wine is 12-15%, but I can kill a bottle by myself no problem. I won't even be tipsy. Is it the carbonation in the beer that makes you get drunk quicker? I've heard this about champagne, but I don't know. I don't buy it. Interesting to think about.
On another subject I was thinking about this; if you're not able to digest corn, how are there nutrition facts on the can. BTW I don't fuck with canned corn. It was just an observation.

You know ittakes more than a srcond to get drunk, yourbody needs to absorb the ethanol first
some say it's the fizz.
champagne is a good example because more fizzy equals more dizzy.
